+1 yThinking about my dad who I just lost my right to see, manage his health, and my right to everything that he owned. His ex-wife took everything and sold it all. And told the courts not to let me see him so she could keep the money. He's had two strokes and barely remember anything. I have a packet of pictures I need to take to him. I cannot. Take them to him. So he can. Remember. Me. Oh sorry what I think about when I'm sad... Oh sorry! I think about my funny dog great Pyrenees he was 8 years old when his ex wife stole him and brought him to a rescue center 300 miles away and legally deactivated his fucking chip. 8 fucking years. The woman who calls herself my mother hasn't cared a bit about any of this. My whole family is dead to me. Go fuck your selves if you think you know pain.

+1 yGreatly depends what is making me sad or down.
often just chatting to a friend is enough.
going for a run, mountain biking.
chatting to my daughter helps a lot, especially with home made hot chocolate and marshmallows.
Also likely bizarrely, chatting on here can help as well.01 Reply- +1 y

Another thing is doing things that can make me relax, like watching my favorite show, eating my favorite food, listening to my favorite songs and etc...
