Why is being a short man considered worse than being a short woman?

Because of sexual dimorphism. Men are generally bigger and stronger than women. Males tend to be attracted to women who are shorter than them, and women tend to like men who are larger than they are.

The average height of an American woman is 5'4". So women are generally short anyway. And a lot of guys think that average or below average height in a woman is super cute and feminine. Some guys who lave low opinions of women claim that women won't even consider a guy who is below 6' tall, which is total bullshit. But women do tend to prefer guys who are taller than they are. And may are more than willing to take on tall guys.

I think that some shorter guys develop inferiority complexes by comparing themselves to taller guys as opposed to being rejected by women. Maybe that's the main reason why men, in particular, think it's worse to be short.

well generally, men used to be the ones who would protect women while women carried their young. and a man who is tall and muscular is considered more suitable for protecting the woman. i guess for most people this concept still kind of sticks with them, even today.

I don't consider short men worse then anyone but you aren't wrong I have friends that have dating profiles that say you must be 6 foot to message? I'm like the hell is that? They think its funny, cute etc, I find it just sad and ridiculous
