How do you react to people, who tries to start an argument over something you don't find worth arguing about?

It's super hard to look into the face of insanity and not be baited into stupidity yourself. I just voice my disapprove in as mild of a tone I can manage and then I walk way or refuse to discuss it further. When its blatantly obvious there will be no agreement or compromise on your opinions, ethics or morals then it best to just say nothing and let it bounce around in their own heads.

Depends on my mood, either I will cut them off and immediately stop the conversation or I might listen to their frustration and just make it short but I won't start arguing with them.

I don't even react honestly, I'll just look at you stupid, maybe laugh, and then go back to whatever I was doing or walk away. I've learned trivial bs isn't worth arguing over.

If they're just trying to start an argument it'll piss me off for a very small bit and then I'll get bored I might get Petty but emotionally I'm almost entirely uninvested by that point and I'm just doing it for gits and shiggles

I'm just naturally someone who wants to help people so this is an easy trap to fall into. It's kind of a judgement call. Basically after a couple tries if I sense that they just want me to agree with their firmly held beliefs then I just give up and move on. There's no point in talking to a wall. And you can't always reach everyone.

Best way not to argue is to say "Yeah, you're right" even if you don't agree. That shuts down most arguments.
