What do you think about people who intentionally try to start arguments or fights?

Most of the time that they're sad/pitiful, most people I've known like that were either unhinged or on drugs. Roids being the most conducive to nonsense fights and arguments, then crack for argument escalation... usually just as justification to rob someone though, with the roids you need to watch for being raped.

Regardless it's sad, there's so much to live and be happy for, rather than pick one thing to be an asshole about, or continue an addiction that compels you to. Most of them are going to die by the drug, or picking a fight they shouldn't have. Even if they "win" they're still hollow. Or I was until I quit. Never did the roids, but crack ruled me for a while.

More often than not, they do this to get reactions and make themselves feel better because they got a rise out of you. Do not fall victim because then they’ve won and you lost. They do this because they’re hurt and want everyone around them to be just as miserable. Hope that helps

it is rare... but I just ignore them and keep walking

those who know me also, know better and to not start BS with me... they know I won't fall for it, and if they insist well...

so it usually happens with strangers, on public places or whatever... and those are usually just dramatic people that start something with anyone, so I am not really their problem, I just ignore them or dismiss them and walk away... not a good idea to get into fights with strangers at public places

If I am not involved, it can be rather entertaining. For the sake of fighting it's foolish. But sometimes in order to move forward, one must confront and argue.

Depends what we call an honest debate. When I see intentional facetious questions or questions that are bait to trigger negative reactions, then no. Those are what I consider the topic of this question.
