If someone treated you horrible but saved you, is all debt repaid?

This is the irony of my life. The very same person that treated me horrible (bullying included too, trying to destroy my reputation and many other things) ended up saving me in the end.

I hate to admit it but I'm alive because of that very same person. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for that person shoving me away danger. The person could've died by a couple secods late, barely got out on time. I wasn't going to forgive if it wasn't for that.

I think in that case, what more can I ask for? If the very person nearly died saving you and you're alive because of them, is all debt repaid? Is that an enough apology?

Prior to that, the person apologized a couple times. I refused to accept because it was too much damage and I thought some things can't be solved with just an ''I'm sorry''. After what happened, I think that's enough apology... me being alive because of them. And them risking their own life in the process.

I was always taught that actions speak louder than words. If the person risked their own life saving me and I would've been dead if it wasn't for them then I believe that's already an apology. I think I have no more to say. I feel as if I can't ask for anything else.
