So when you've got a cop right behind you, how do you feel?

I am never nervous! I always just figure that the odds of a cop being behind me are the same as having any type of car behind me, so I don’t worry, I definitely wouldn’t change the way I was driving, that seems to me to be admitting that you know that you were doing something wrong. If I get pulled over, I’m just polite, i smile, and I am very pleasant. I don’t ever apologize, as that could be seen as an admission of guilt. Besides, I’ve never gotten a ticket in my life anyway, because I obey the traffic laws, and I'm very observant on my speed and signaling before turning, or changing lanes (10 seconds, or 1/8 mile whatever is longest!) and I always come to a complete stop, THEN say “one one thousand, two, one thousand” THEN I proceed through the stop sign. So I know if they are behind me, its highly unlikely that they are going to pull me over. Even if they do, what can I do? The side of the road is not the place to argue your case, and cops have enough a-holes to deal with, every day. So why not just be nice to him?
Okay this is funny, there's been police in the parking lot at my job cuz of noise complaints about people bumping their music too loud... So the one day, the cop pulled out the minute I pulled out of my parking spot, but 5 cars got behind me before he could.. Next day, cops not in parking lot but minute drive past a lot on way to freeway, cop pulled out and got behind me, minute I turned the corner, so did he and the lights came on, as I was going to pull over, some gold jeep out of nowhere pulled over, so I got the fuck out of dodge lololI'm wondering if they were running plates in the parking lot and my plates might be kinda sorta suspended at the moment🤐
Lol Your description sums it up perfectly. I'm a former CO and still feel that way. As soon as I see a cop behind me, I wonder if I was absent-minded for a moment and accidentally sped or ran a light. The moment that gets me the most is the one where a light is yellow, I run it and get halfway through the intersection when the light turns red and the cops gets behind me right after. Most cops will not pull you over for this in the U. S. because it is safer than slamming your breaks in the middle of the intersection to correct your mistake, but deep down we all know the yellow light means slow down and technically we CAN get pulled over for it. However, the lights in my area are slow so I treat the yellow as a speed up light.
I'm invisible to cops. I drive a plain service van, and a uniform, and I'm just one of hundreds going about my day doing work for other people. Unless I was swerving through traffic at 120 MPH (which is impossible for my van - I doubt it can break 85 if I'm not driving down a mountain), or doing donuts in an intersection - things I don't do - then they have no interest in me.

Choices 'D', 'E', and 'F' are hilarious. 🤣🤣🤣
It's hard to describe the feeling I get. It's like my skin prickles when I first see it. Not quite a cold sweat. Danger! Danger! Then I check my speed and make sure I'm driving perfect.
Unfortunately, cops in patrol cars are like cold-blooded predators. If they're behind you, it's not a good thing.
I was at the front of a big and busy intersection yesterday. Two biker police came between cars and pulled in next to me to wait for the light. I looked at them, prepared to nod, and they completely ignored me. I felt like dramatically waving with both hands.
if it is police in the USA, I do not care one bit... I just keep going on my way to wherever
if it is police in Mexico, then I will slow down and get out of the way, let them pass, stop if I must... if they are going to try something, I rather they do it asap and for me to be ready for it, and then they usually just keep driving and go on their way, and so do I... lol
I get nervous because our cops are really incompetent. I carry a gun to do the cop's job for him because he'll probably blast the neighbor lady's melon off when he misses his first 4 shots by a mile and then kills her cat before correcting his shitty aim. Cops actually have notoriously bad marksmanship.
Guilty as fuck.
wondering if he will understand the black polyethylene sheetings, rope and are for my new pond and the spade is for digging the hole.
also shhh, that hitchhiker is having a bit of a erm sleep.
Thailand: There's a 50% likelihood that the guys are corrupt. The other 50% is that they just while away the time for their next paycheck (while they try to look good in their tight police costumes).
I'm always on a scooter - so I'll speed up and zig-zag my way to add distance.
They usually use these silly fuck-up trucks - no chance for them to keep pace :D
I continue to drive like I always do, aware that, at any moment, he could put on his siren and lights to go after someone, so I plan to move over and let him by if/when he does that.
Anxious for sure and drive the speed limit or a little under. Had blue lights flashing behind my on interstate once and thought it was coming after me. Turns out he passed me to chase after another vehicle. Thank god. Never been pulled over.
I get irritated if im driving my car cops assume im speeding (1969 corvette) and when im in my truck it seems they single my truck out because its a piece of crap
I’ve been in this situation a couple of times and I just drive normally while they overpass and go elsewhere. Even if they pull me over, I’d probably try and talk them out of whatever they’re trying to catch me with 😂
I stay pretty relaxed. Normally i do drive like 5 miles above the speed limit but if i see the cop nearby i slow it a little
I regularly drive above the speed limit and when I was younger I used to drive drunk a lot. When I would see the cops I would always check my speed and make sure I did not cross the double yellow.
Been there a couple of times 😂 Nothing, I just continue to drive normally. They usually overtake the cars in front of them.
I know i didn't do anything wrong, even if they signal me to stop, i will relaxed. I wouldn't even bother ask why they stopped me 🤷♂️
I'm shittin a brick just looking at that photo and pondering the question! Seriously like!!
I just borrowed the car and was going to return it later, I swear.
This is why owning an ex-police car was fun
Well, I was only a passenger in it but cutting down a motorway at 130mph with everyone getting out the way like the parting of the red sea is truly something to behold
Most times he/she are just going somewhere. In most cases they will pass me by as soon as the get a clear stretch.
"Shit. How do they know about THAT?"
😂
In cali police are pretty chill i never worry about them and i never been ticketed or pulled over. In other states i lived in i won't say the same.
For such moments, I always place 17 layers of toilet paper in my underwear.
Nervous for seatbelts nervous for something wrong with the tag
I'm a professional driver so I never worry about my driving.
