Did I overreact? Am I a bad friend?

I live in a woody town with shady places. One day, an old friend of mine invited me to go to a bar in one of those areas. She changed a lot these past 5 years. She used to be an honor student until she met other friends and started to live a poor lifestyle filled with thrill and drugs. I heard that she went to rehab tho.
Anyways, knowing that place, I called my boyfriend to tell him where I'm going. Understandably, he was mad, telling me that I should be careful and stuff (didn't yell or cuss. He's a very quiet man). While trying to convince him, my friend came close to my phone, listened in for a while, then yelled: "Shut the f* up you sexist son of a b* and let her come with me! She's old enough to party!" She said stronger words afterwards. I turned away but she snatched my phone and ended the call promptly. I could hear it ringing over and over again. She said that she'll only give my phone back if I went with her. She proceeds to lecture me about internalized misogyny and whatever to the point that I couldn't understand what she's talking about. Then suddenly, she looked into my eyes and said, "Break up with him. He's trash and will only ruin our fun." Sure, he's too serious sometimes. But whether it's when he was a friend or as a present lover, he always gives good counsel and support. I said that I won't go anymore so she tried to pull me into her car. I saw 2 men at the back and irrationally panicked. I flailed around until she let go and I ran as fast as I could until I reached my aunt's place. I told my boyfriend the next day, he was clearly more than mad and went to the alleyway where she always hangs out. He came back with a bruise and my phone that has a cracked screen. He tells me to never contact her unless she straightens her life out. I opened FB and saw her new posts about me, calling me a horrible friend and a letdown. I feel bad... I hate her now, but did I really overreact? What should I do?
