Neither, strictly speaking. Time will not slow down, but our perceptions and experience of it will; this is why clocks move slower on high-speed aircraft. Given how much of modern "science" has moved from actual observations into ever-more abstract pure mathematical models, it's not surprising that so many have forgotten that the latter is an INVENTION, rather than a discovery, but forgetfulness doesn't change reality.

We can't go slower to speed of light and prove that time is limited to speed of light, do we?
