No. Humans sacrificed raw strength for fantastic manual dexterity in our hands many thousands of years ago. Humans didn't use pure strength to survive and hunt. We have far better endurance than most animals, especially ones that pant to keep cool. Most animals evolved with the ability of high bursts of speed. But endurance was sacrificed. And panting is inefficient in cooling an animal compared to sweating. Humans are endurance terminators. An animal can run and run and run until they are nearly dead from exhaustion and a human won't even been winded, but may have sore legs. Humans would walk their prey to death. The animal would run until it couldn't move and then humans could walk right up and kill the animal. The endurance afforded by sweating and storing fat reserves to burn for later let humans excel at endurance hunting.
If that wasn't an option, intellect played a massive role. Intelligence combined with the unparraled ability to make and use tools with our extremely refined motor skills let humans make tools to make up for lack of natural weaponry. Intelligence also allowed for communication with others and abstract thought which allowed for the ability to plan. Combine tools and weapons with easy communication, ability to plan, set traps, and ability to be intelligent enough to be flexible with plans and/or improvise is what led to humans being successful and able to compete for resources.
Compared to a powerful animal, humans are much lighter, are laughably weak, and burst speed is lower than most predatory animals. Humans lack natural weapons like fangs, claws, spines, venom, stingers, and so on. Humans are brittle, weak, and not a threat when compared to such an animal. The human brain consumes roughly 1/4th of the energy that is consumed, energy that doesn't go towards thicker, more powerful muscle cells. Or more solid, densely packs bones to move said muscles.
A humans advantage is not in raw power. So in a 1v1 against the suggested animal, the human will lose 99.9% repeating of the time, allowing for flukes and random chance. Even an extremely healthy, fit, olympian level athlete will be destroyed. Even when humans pack on the muscle, the brain inhibits how much force can be used to avoid damaging bone and muscle and severely crippling survivability. That's why a chimp or monkey much smaller than a person is still easily produce enough force to rip a persons arms out of the sockets and tear the arms free from the human body. It's been documented... many times. Even a monkey's slap can break bones and pulp organs if you're hit in the stomach.
Our talents lie elsewhere. Simple as that.

Actually... it's possible.
Carl Akeley, look him up. It's not impossible based on that. There was also a man who killed a timber would bare handed. Again smaller but again it's possible. Back when I studied ballistics I came to calculate that the vitals can be damaged to the point of lethality at 58 lbs of force. The average man has about 100 lbs of force in his hands. Strong men can go upwards of 230 lbs. As a comparison the bite force of the average American Pitbull Terrior is 242 PSI. Our hands can get to the same energy levels as fighting dog breeds. That's nothing to sneeze at. The main reason a dog doesn't stand the same chance against a lion is simply because 1) The human brain is vastly superior and can calculate and find weak points the dog can't. 2) we have thumbs and that makes a huge difference. There's only one way this works though, the throat without getting ripped to shreds and bleeding out first. Possible? yes. Likely? Absolutely not.

Nope even grappling those rear claws would rip you open.
Also lions also rely on mass and speed when attacking.
It’s going to be say 300 lbs travelling at say 40mph when it impacts with claws at teeth.
It would not just stand and fight, cats do not do that they hit hang on or they hit and run then hit againThe only animals humans are built to fight without weapons are other humans. We have dexterity, opposable thumbs, and believe it or not, humans are the best marathon runners in the animal kingdom.
The hand's ability to form into a fist came from evolution. You've evolved to punch. Thing is, the hand is easily broke. The evolution wasn't the best.If you got the drop on it and choked it out maybe, otherwise you're pretty fucked. They're killing machines.
Thankfully if they're not hungry and you're chill but wary you're probably fine.
They don't know how weak we are, and we look big standing. He should have a katana, just to even the odds further. Or failing that, a machete. A flamethrower if he's serious, and doesn't mind burning the meat. Most animals fear fire. Ancient warriors used shields and spears for a reason.
The lioness would win, her claws and teeth would tear up the man, who could only use blunt force on her.
Nope we didn't evolve to be able to fight other creatures without weapons its why he have no actual defense or offensive adaptation
A humans greatest weapon is our mind and our ability to use tools, if you take those away we lose to almost every Apex level predator.
Kill them? Without a weapon? The chances of that are as close to zero as it is possible to get in an infinite universe. Your best chance is if she suffers a fatal heart attack before you die.
Unarmed? Probably not. Hungry lion? Definitely not.
Maybe a super heavy weight fighter; but not every time.
Only with the grace of God.
I would doubt it. lions are tough.
It's unlikely to happen
Nope
No not at all
