Trending & News I would say mental or emotional pain, as they're closely interrelated
There are drugs that numb physical pain, but I personally know of none that stop emotional pain. It takes a lot of internal work and reflection or sometimes time. Sometimes, it can literally drive you insane. Some emotional pain is as bad as having a heart attack, statistically speaking. The brain doesn't allow you to recall physical pain, but does allow you to recall emotional pain. If you've ever broken a bone you can remember the event and that it was painful, but you won't feel that pain by thinking about it. But think of a passed loved one and the pain becomes realized again.
Anti depressants and weeds exist for emotional pain too. Why is it that you compare a simple physical pain to an emotion pain thats the worse case scenario? There are also physical pain that can't just easily go away not just a simple injury you're talking about. How about you compare a broken heart to a broken spine that's chronic?
Emotional pain
I have yet to learn to handle my emotions better. I’m awfully sensitive and I’ve been bullied for it. I cry a lot too, but I don’t care what others think because it’s the only thing that makes me feel better.
I don’t really think mental and emotional pain are that different. Both cause distress and are invisible from the surface. You can never tell what others are going through by just seeing them. One of the happiest people I’ve met were under extreme emotional torment. Injury to the body can heal, but emotional/mental pain takes a lot of work. Sometimes, physical pain can also cause emotional/mental pain.
They're not comparable because they all have their own levels of pain. What people tend to do is they compare a punch to a broken heart when they should be comparing a broken spine to a broken heart.
Also which explains why inflicting physical pain to anyone is more likely to be punishable by law
If you insult a stranger, a more common respond is to ignore. But punching someone is almost guaranteed they'd punch you back or they'd cower and react. You see how inflicting physical pain to someone can harm them mentally that instant?
Why choose?
And what's the difference between mental pain and emotional pain? Like depression and self-hatred versus a dog or loved one dying?

all can be painful, physical pain will go away fairly quickly, emotional pain is like this, you have been knocked down getting up is only up to you, mental pain, that is something I don't know about, never had it
"Fairly quickly" why compare a physical pain like punch to emotional pain that doesn't go away "quickly"? How about you compare a broken spine that pains you chronically to emotional pain?
For me it's mental pain. I have learnt to handle my emotions hence mental pain can be more than painful.
Physical pain = injury to the body.
Mental pain/emotional pain = injury to the brain + body.
Physical pain can also hurt you emotionally FYI. it takes 2 tango
I'm neurodivergent. I perceive emotional pain as far worse, because on the surface, it is entirely invisible, difficult to measure, and can cause anguish for life.
Wheres all of the above? Personally Id say mental and emotional pain hurt more to me.
Voted C. In the moment it might be A, but I've experienced both and emotional pain is the only one that lingers.
Mental pain. I feel like when i talk to republicucks, my IQ drops, and that hurts
