Stink bug was on my clothes?

So a stink bug was on my towel as I was walking in the bathroom. They say put it in water and soup, but I said F that and just threw the whole towel in the washer with laundry detergent. Will that kill it?

For sure it is dead and detergent takes care of that horrible odor. 👍

Sure damn did take care of it. Mf was died when i took the towel out the washer.
