I loved going on Church field trips to the zoo and stuff like that, evening prayer, wholesome lunch. It was lots of fun. :) What about yourselves?

I had an absolutely fabulous childhood. I didn't realize it then, but looking back I do. I didn't think it was bad then, but I didn't know that others had it any different. I thought it was a standard childhood, but as an adult I now see how good I had it lol
I wanted for nothing. My parents are upper middle class. They stopped paying for me to do stuff when I was 16 and I had to get a job if I wanted fun money so I learned the value of hard work. We lived in a farming community so my jobs have all petty much been manual labor type jobs.
We had horses. I was the kid who asked for a pony and actually got one 😅
We took multiple international trips that lasted for up to a month at a time. My parents own a beachfront property in Costa Rica that we went to a lot. They also brought me to Japan, Thailand, Cambodia, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Honduras. They paid for me to go to Germany and the Netherlands on my own when I graduated high school. I got to participate in whatever school activity I wanted to. It was just altogether a good time lol
I have a tough childhood with our father, so it was not very pleasant many times. However I do have some nice memories, and that is going sledding in Central Park (NYC) with my family using a small car like toy that was strong enough to hold my weight. I would get on it and roll down snowy hills. I had people ask me if their children could get a turn, and I would let them ride as well.
Other times I remember were, going out all dressed up for Easter in Easter attire, from clothes to coats and shoes, and even pocketbooks with my sister.
Playing in the snow with my siblings.
Visiting family in Brooklyn.
Making pasteles with my Mother.
Having my brother wrap us in a blanket where he would swing us around and around for a ride.
Waking up on Christmas morning to open gifts from Santa. But before that--looking into closets for them! We kind of knew the real story.
oh yeah plenty. going to Disneyland every so often, Going up north to visit my mom's side of the family, going on a few cruises with the family. hanging out with my brothers friends and play tons of video games together, especially rpgs.
I'm a 90s kid and let me tell you it was a magical time to grow up in :)
Pokemon, video games (especially Super Nintendo and N64) and Saturday Morning Cartoons are about the only positive things from my childhood I have.

I had many positive memories as a child, like visiting African lion safari in Ontario during a PA day and buying an incredible glow in the dark souvenir at the gift shop afterwards, or playing hide and seek at the gym during the after school program and taking swimming lessons as an 8 year old child, or going on vacation with a guy I liked cause our parents had been friends for 8 years, and talking a romantic walk in the rain. We were 12 at the time and he is now a gay doctor.
I remember being bored a lot as a kid but the times where we did go out and do things with my family or my friends yes, it was a lot of fun. I guess I have memories too of being a young adult, but it's more stressful then childhood memories of course, which is why it's nice to remember who I was before I grew up, cause I know I'm capable of being that happy, it's just not an everyday thing.
Peter. A teacher from when I was only eight. The first day he surprised the class with his love for drawing. He made a drawing of a man in a hammock tied to two palm trees. He colored it as well. Looking back on it, it was a very simple drawing, but it was clear enough for all to see what was going on. As a kid, I found it so cool he did that, and that is how I got hooked to drawing.

My childhood was quite memorable. Some memories I'd prefer to forget.
