What are some good/bad memories from your childhood?

The good memories:

The way the summer break felt like a year even though it was only 10 to 12 weeks which now goes by so fast.

On the Fourth of July we would climb a ladder onto our roof to watch the big fireworks about a half-mile away.

Helping my dad change the oil in his car every 3 months since he had a long commute. We'd listen to classic radio comedies from the 1930's to '50's.

I won't mention any bad ones. I'm trying to be a more positive person.

good - Christmas with my dad and he had stayed sober for a year, so he was a good dad for that period

bad - Christmas a year later in his car freezing at midnight after we'd been evicted and i had no clue where he was (probably getting drugs)
