So any pointers?
What to expect when taking your driver's test?
So any pointers?
I'd say to relax and not get nervous - easier said than done, but think that you have to concetrate for some 30 minutes and then you have your independence.
I'm not sure how driving exams are like in your country, here they are pretty strict and even ask questions about road regulations and the engine before the driving part.
I had to take my exam twice.
First time was going very well, we were almost done but then I went through an empty rotunda without signal light. The examiner apologized and told me to pull over, because that mistake failed the exam. The second time there still was that examiner - she recognized me, and told me to relax because she was sure I could pass. I passed, and asked my teacher if she had gone easy on me because the exam seemed easier. He then told me she told him she was ready to fail me on the spot if I did any mistake at all, so that was a close one! But that said, my advice would be to relax, be attentive to everything (like you should be when driving) and pay attention to what the examiner asks.
Depends where you live.
Here in germany you need a couple of theoretic lessons, learning the roadsigns, how to maintain your car, the special names for lights..., how to drive in certain situations, eg when you drive onto the autobahn or who can drive first on an intersection...
And than you got a test with 30 questions.
And than you need practical lessons, a couple of autobahn/night/inner city/outer city, ... and at some point your instructor will tell you, you are ready.
And you will got a test with a special instructor, 45 min drive in many situations.

You are 99 years old, It's about time.
You must make sure you are ready for the test. If you cannot parallel park than find somebody who will help you practice it. Also stopping on a hill is a thing. You must remember to use turn signals and make sure you are familiar with who has the right of way.
TRy to relax and pay attention to what the examiner tells you to do.
In the US the hardest part I think is the maneuverability portion where you have to drive between cones and then back out between the cones. If there is anything similar where you are I would look for a place to practice that.
Other than that just be cool and relaxed. Drive speed limits, use turn signals and make sure to follow all other traffic rules.
you got this!
Find a big parking lot and practice. Practice and practice until you start to feel comfortable with it. Then do what you're doing here and ask people for pointers.
Go to a big shopping mall and practice parking: drive-in, back-in, 3 point parallel parking. Correctly adjust all mirrors first!
