I live on private property and only ever let ftends and family use it my neighbours will not take no for an answer and keep coming back everyday asking what should I do

This is your property and ultimately YOUR liability, should anyone get hurt. Call the police and get these neighbors on record. Every time they show up, call the police again. Install video cameras that can capture front and backyard areas.

If you have a pool, you "should" have some sort of fence, either around the pool itself to prevent individuals from "easily" accessing the pool, or around your property. The video cameras will tell the story if anyone trespasses. Report anyone to the police and provide them the video of proof who it was.

Finally, check with your insurance company about your liability coverage and what your responsibilities are to prevent a lawsuit. Check with the city to find out what the ordinances are for having a pool. Make certain you meet and exceed ALL those items.

It's pretty crappy that neighbors seem to think they have ANY right to use YOUR pool, or anything else for that matter.

Get a lawyer to draw up a waiver that will ABSOLVE YOU OF ALL RESPONSIBILITY if they are injured in any way from entering your property & using your pool, then when your neighbours come pestering you for them to use your pool, present it to them (have a copy for each one of them) on a clipboard get them to print their name, sign & date it.

I’d be willing to bet that you would back off when presented with the waiver as most people are not willing to sign anything that looks official. Getting a lawyer to do the waiver may cost you $50-$100 dollars or so but it will be worth it just to put your neighbours off and if they do sign it, it will cover you if they break-in to your property when you are not there, and injure themselves they will not be able to claim damages from your insurance.

Tell them no and put up a camera at the front door and one facing the pool. That way you have evidence of harassment and if they go in without permission. It helps when pressing charges.

Alternatively tell them they can't from you. $100 a day in advance.

Do they just come over and go in your pool or do they knock on your door and ask? Personally, I'd put a lock on my gate with a combination lock. You give the code to people who you let in the pool. Put up no trespassing signs. You can legally have them arrested for trespassing then

Worst case scenario, take pictures and call the cops for trespassing. If you live in America, grabbing a shotgun should make it quite clear that it is private property.
