Really fed up with my neighbours what do I do?

I work long hours, leave house at 9am and sometimes don't get back until 7pm then I go to the gym several times a week, a lot of the time I am knackered and want to sleep in or ill go out with friends so I'm not always at home to help my mom take the trash out or do things for outside of the house, the neighbours give me death stares and when I do take the trash in and out sometimes I can hear them say 'she's really bad

I get a gardener to do our gardener and honestly I don't like to go out and do things like clean the windows etc because my neighbours just come out and stare at me. I hate it. I'm damned if I do and dammed if I don't.

I would rather pay someone to do things to the house but the whole street does not like me and talks about me that I don't do enough to help my mom.

My father passed away when I was 12 and all I got from them was 'are you helping around and helping everyone'

Its like there's no compassion at all and I'm some devil person

What do I do?

Do I ignore it? Step up?

This has been said about me when I was 16 - up until now at 30

The house is paid off and I pay the bills and help inside the house

Its also because my mom buys groceries and has about 9 huge bags full, heavy stuff and she carries it half a block away to the house. As I said im working. Is that bad?

It certainly doesn't sound like any of the neighbors are stepping up to help. Therefore they have no room talk. Sounds like your mom is financially cared for and you are doing what you can while still managing to have somewhat of a life of your own. You're doing more for your mom then then a lot do for their parents. Relax, ignore the dopes and enjoy life more.

And yet with all that time on their hands they don't offer to do a thing for your mom. Instead they criticize you without knowing the whole truth.

Sounds to me that you spread do a great job looking after your mom, you do slot the nosey neighbors don't see. I think you're a great person sndbi bet your mom is very happy with how you care for her. You need your own time and she life of your own, maybe there's a good guy out there for you.

Could you possibly set your mom up to shop for groceries online and have them delivered instead of her lugging them home?

I hate those kinds of Neighbors. I have some rental property with partner and I've got one of those Grandma/Great Grandma 1960 ranch neighborhood. They do the same thing to our family there. There's a fence yard get over... kids make noise. I despise trifling people and it sounds like you have a few... or street full
