Help! How can I turn off my lamp without getting electrocuted?

I have a lamp on my side table , I turn it on daily before bed. I leave it on all night as a night light. Last night I used a duster to dust the egdhes of the lamp & now Some reason since this morning when I turned it off , I felt a small buzz on my finger and tiny buzz noise. And the light bulb inside flickers.
I turned it on now and again same buzz on my finger and my finger hurt tiny bit. Now I’m scared and will need turn it off and get rid of it but I’m scared he electructed if I turn it off. Also few days ago water began drip on the outlet where my lamp is connected when I turned on my ac , I don't know if that’s y my lamp is buzzing or due to me cleaning with duster?

You can to go the breaker in your house and shut off the power to the outlets where the lamp is it the breaker should be labeled, that would be the safest way.

One time when I was young my mom was changing a lightbulb in a lamp, and I don't know what possessed me to do this I stuck my finger in the lightbulb socket and I got like a full body electrocution.

I live in a studio. I yanked off the cord and the lamp is off. I can’t connect a new lamp on that outlet cuz water from the ac leaked on that outlet. So will need use a different outlet. I don't know if the lamp is breaking down or it broke due to the water inside the outlet.

The socket part might be defective. It sounds like something is loose. The bulb might just be loos but another part might also be loose. If it is a real problem, either replace the socket. They can be fround at Home Depot. Or else just replace the lamp. It is not worth the risk of fire or electrocuton

Won’t that be worse tho? Cuz the lamp is still on , I cud be electrocuted that way too maybe the cord will buzz too and let out big spark. Water fell on that outlet I can’t do that.

I can’t disconnect it as the lamp is on. I need press the tiny button that’s inside the lamp to turn it on but I’m scared get the buzz feeling on my finger or be electrocuted.
