I once got a text message from an acquaintance, asking if I wanted to come over and see his new black milkshake. I was intrigued, because what flavor is THAT going to be? So I went, and probably shouldn't've been surprised to find it was in fact a black milk sNake- they're not naturally black, but breeders have changed that. And the result is STUNNING:

While I've never seen a dog or cat look QUITE so shiny, I see no reason they couldn't be just as lovely.
Cooooooool!
No black cats they are evil in my neighborhood and one male black cat pics on this nice cat
what makes black cats evil?
Squirrel 😍
Absolutely! I have a black cat, actually. He's my buddy and I love having him.
I specifically set out to adopt an adult black cat because they have the worst adoption rate, and I wanted to give him a chance.
Plus he's exactly my kind of cat. Cuddly, playful, and vocal. And derpy af.
We adopted a black cat that no one wanted. She is a great cat. We love her like a child. I have a friend who only adopts black cats.

I'm low key considering adopting a cat. I haven't thought about the colour, I'd be much more concerned about age and state of health. Most that I've seen have been geriatric or suffering from chronic health issues, plus they appear to have the mange.
The one in your pic is a real beauty, I would adopt her in a heartbeat.
Yep, I had a black cat a few years ago. She was a stray so she just kinda showed up and stayed. She died a few years ago of old age. I definitely wouldn't mind another one but my current apartment doesn't allow pets.
Yep! That is, if I didn't have to move so often, due to my job.
Of course! How does the colour of fur matters anyways. Love all animals.
I wouldn't simply because I'm afraid of dogs and I don't like cats.
Not a black cat
I'm a bit superstitious about this
My next-door neighbors have a black lab, and she's a great dog. I'd adopt her in a minute.
Yes, but you have to be careful walking them in the sun in hot places as they can get overheated. Not such a problem with cats, obviously, as they tend to be night creatures.
One of my two dog buddies is entirely black.
I also had a full-black cat once.
My answer is NO. Only because I have too many pets at the time. If I was looking for a dog or cat then yes I would
I wouldn't get a black cat for two reasons number 1 I'm not really a cat person and number 2 I'm superstitious and have heard black cats bring bad luck so I'm not taking any chances
what about a black dog?
Yes, I had a black cat once, so Id adopt another one.
My dog is black. He is such a big baby. He loves to cuddle
I don’t believe they’re bad luck, if that’s what you’re referring to. lol
People who are scared of black cats are racist confirmed? Yes I would
Dogs yes, cats no. i dont want a pet that climbs.
Yes as I had a black lab named Oedipus.
Absolutely. I am not a racist.
Sure, I like them in that color
I've had both and yes I'd do it again
I think black cats and dogs are beautiful.
How does colour of fur matter?
Kitty! *steals*
