Yes.
I’m high school I was as innocent as can be. Became friends with a popular guy who then let people believe we had sex in the parking lot when we were just there early morning talking alone.
I didn’t want anyone to think I was some whore. Had “Sarah (my surname) and Ben (surname) fucked in the parking lot”
Then it didn’t help he went out clubbing and drank shots from a girls boobs who looked identical to me so the whole school thought I was some quiet innocent girl in classes and wild outside.
I would walk home crying my eyes out on a daily from who shit girls treated me from then on… all the lies they’d spread, all the harsh words they’d yell at me, ect…

In high school my reputation went from shy academic nerd to seemingly popular hoe. I only slept with one dude but just the fact i hung around a bunch of guys was apparently not seen as a good. And some people act like i have a bad reputation on GaG as a sex symbol or some shit. I’m jus being myself

I think if have ever dated or stayed in one area for too long at some piont you run through all the available dating population. I mean I have lived in a small town, were you can't take a piss without someone knowing. So you ask a girl out and you date, everyone seems to know everything about your relationship or at least think they do.

So yeah, its not hard to get a bad reputation depending on the circumstances. Usually people run in the same social circles so if it ends poorly all the other ladies start forming their own opinions about you.

But I developed a bad reputation among my liberal friends after the 2016 election in which I opposed Hillary, and then when I refused to fall the the covid hysteria.

Yeah. I have a couple. My first bad reputation was for my fierce temper. I haven’t lost my kool in a long time, so i’m not sure if i still carry that one. The tales of some of my explosions still float around campfires and family gatherings like legends of berserkers descending from the hills though. So there’s definitely a residue.
I’m also known as a word and grammar “Nazi”. I don’t mind this one so much, except for the “Nazi” part. I’ve never actually put someone in an internment camp for using incorrect punctuation or spelling a word wrong. I just rarely miss an opportunity to correct someone when they do. Regardless, it does push some people away and it limits interactions with those who can’t get away. Ell oh ell!

As far as I know, I don't have a bad reputation. Some people may not like me or assume something about my character, but usually once someone gets to know me that tends to change. But you can't please everyone, nor do I seek to. All you can do is be kind and genuinely intend goodwill towards others, and treat people with dignity and let the chips fall where they may. 🙂

Maybe to some people I may have a bad reputation. Some people may dislike me or think I'm selfish or whatever but if other people try to take away any of my rights or someone else's rights then I'm not going to be nice to those people. I'm immediately going to get defensive. I have the urge to want to call people out who are like this but I know it's not worth arguing with everyone.

I had a bad reputation with some groups of people and probably still do. You cannot and I will not force any one to have me in their lofe or hear my words. Some would never believe me any ways and thats their right. I hope I have a better reoutation how.

I had a really horrible reputation in high school. The funny thing is that I didn't even know about how bad my reputation was until a few years after I graduated when I learned that my "friends" were spreading horrid, vicious rumors about me so they would have something to talk about while they sold weed.

My reputation these days is a lot better.
