So, I got in an accident (in May) with an object on the highway, not a car. It was just random stuff on the highway. Speed limit was 75 mph, and I couldn’t swerve on time. I thought another car was beside me.
Anyways, fast forward to getting the car fixed. Nothing was ruined, I just need to have some body work done. See, I am not a car expert, but I can sure as hecc tell when paint is turning yellow. My car is white… The guy fixed my car up, but I had to go back, due to the paint turning yellow. He forgot to do a step, which is why it turned yellow. Pls, tell me why I look at my car today, and that shi is still yellow? He forgot to paint a whole part!!! 😭 Yes, I inspected my car when I picked it up, but I didn’t over do it, so that they think I am being rude. What am I supposed to do, now? 😭 The first time it turned yellow, I went off on them. I paid with my money. It is not cheap, btw…
I feel like I would am being rude by going back a third time, but I paid to get my parents Benz fixed, not toyed with… Also, I forgot mention how he placed the silver trimming poorly, and it ended up breaking. Mercedes said that they don’t sell the trimming separately, so I said alright, no problem. That is ok, it is not so bad, but the paint? No no!
I am trying to control myself, rn. Like, I don't know how to approach the guy, again. 😭 I want it white, not yelllooooowwww What do I do? 😭 Also, why is it that when a female goes to get her car fixed, they think we want to come back over and over again to get the same shi done? 🤠 Like, y’all couldn’t diagnose the problem before? 🤠🤠🤠
Anyways, the main question is how do I ask the guy to paint the part he missed? 🥺**This post is not for you to come and tell me I don’t know how to drive. Like am I supposed to control what is on the highway floor? The whole highway was clean, it was just some random object.🤠**

They have been paid to do a job, the law in the UK states that goods and services sold must be 'fit for purpose' a paint job that turns yellow and improperly fitted trim is clearly not ok.
They are required to put it right and or refund your money and or pay damages if they have made things worse than they were to begin with.
If they dont then you will have to take them to court.
You should not be telling people 'its ok that you didn't do your job properly' so dont go saying that again.
Men respond better to men, if you have a boyfriend or Dad or brother or cousin or even a friend you know, who knows alittle about cars they will get the job done if not they need to discount the work they can't do.
Welp, time to pick a figure I guess. You're paying with your money. There's no reason for them to do a job so poorly. As others have mentioned, take time to their higher ups (be it their manager or not) and request better service. You can try going to another place but there's not much of a point to be made there.
I never care about people's feelings when I'M paying. Car work is expensive as hell, so do whatever you've got to do to ensure it's done right, if they are honorable people they wouldn't mind you thoroughly inspecting your ride. Go to a new place though if you're worried about anything at this place
If he messes up even one more time though I suggest you contact someone about it cuz I don't think it's legal for you to ask someone to paint your car white and then they make it yellow

Part of the reason why men listen to other men is because of authority. Also men will totally screw over another man when it comes to cars. One of my uncles is a car repair mechanic and his job is totally sketchy and he is not afraid to screw over even his own family never trust a mechanic
@crossdressingrihno I was a bit of a bish last the second time, but I mellowed down when the boss said they will take care of it. Maybe that was my mistake, I don't know. 🥲
In my opinion everyone should know how to at least make minor repairs to their car. If you don't then you're going to be paying a lot of money for something that usually can be fixed quite easily.
Also if you want to get a car that you can rely on that won't break down or at least would be easy to fix if it breaks down then you should get a Volkswagen as they are some of the easiest cars to repair.
I am glad you are alright... and really glad you don't look yellow too... lol So take it back to them, they may not do anything though since you left there like that after the fixed it once already. However they might since they had to do it a second time already. But I would not wait to long. That or either have them paint the whole car yellow... lol
Take the car back in and talk to the service manager. Explain the situation and why you are not pleased with their work, and ask him what he's going to do to resolve it. Stand firm... make sure you get it properly fixed (painted) this time.
You need to speak to the manager. Explain the problem, show him how the paint is yellow and that you want it done over again. Most reputable businesses will fix a mistake like that. If it is a dealership you went to you can threaten to go to the regional manager and complain. If it is a local body shop you can threaten legal action.
It's not rude to want it done right. As far as how to approach this gentleman your best recorce is to approach him calmly like i don't mean to bother you... but it's my parents car and i just want to return it to them the way it was or something like that. Now again if he is one of the ones that treat men and women differently you might have to resort to sending a male in to insure he'll take it more seriously at least that would be the goal
You paid for it. go back and show them. How long has it been since the accident? also whenever you get in an accident if the car is in decent shape or a car of value don't go cheap on body work
I know you can handle this, but bring a male friend/your brother with you as well. They might try to talk you into some bullshit, and your friend will probably prevent it just by being there.
