How to approach this?

A few weeks ago I posted a question about why my ex unblcoked me. But now I been dating someone new since March. At 1st things were great but she saw my ex's name on my FB chat list she said I have 1 more chance to write her by the end of the week to ask to block me. She said if I don't she's leaving me. How should I approach my ex? After all she hates me so much she would love to see me get the Green Death Mile scene. Plus I asked my girlfriend how about I just block her? She said yes after she blocks you. That way I know you have no way to contact her. What to say to my ex? I already promised I woulden't reach out after I sent her a farewell letter back in Feb. and I haven't since. But now my girlfriend said she's gonna leave by Tues if I don't do this. I mean promises were meant to be broken right?

Ugh this is such a messy situation, man. I feel for you, dealing with two women hounding you like this can't be easy. At the same time though, it's your new girl who's really important here. If she says she'll leave unless you write your ex one last time to block them, you gotta do it, even if it goes against what you promised before.

Losing your new girlfriend just wouldn't be worth it. I'd say just keep it real short and simple with your ex - something like "hey, my new girl asked me to block you so can you block me back? No hard feelings." Don't get sucked into explaining more or defending yourself. Like you said, promises get broken sometimes when you care about someone new.

Your ex will probably flip out no matter what you say. But as long as you stick to just the facts and don't engage if she starts throwing insults, you'll look like the mature one. Don't give your ex any more reactions or satisfaction over your relationship stuff. Focus on saving things with your current girl - seems like she's a keeper if she cares this much! Let me know how it goes man.

Your best bet is to just tell them the situation and ask to be blocked
