Best way to give away dog?

I'm tired of this puppy. He's just too much to deal with and I can't do anything with him because he gets into everything. I even fenced off areas of the yard where he would go under the fence with lattice so he could roam but for some reason he always goes straight for the lattice where he knows he can get out. and realized he's just gonna bust right through it. He's about 10 months old now and I haven't gotten 8hrs of sleep since I got him. He's got all his shots so I guess I can just give him away and tell them to call the vet that has them on record? Everyone tells me he's beautiful but he's just a pita.

Surrender him to your local shelter. Or rescue group.

And do everyone a favour and don't get a pet when you're not able to care for it.

He's not going to a shelter. They kill dogs at these shelters.

Then find a no kill shelter or a rescue group.

But you're gonna need to put in effort to do a good job of it.

Again, you're just facing the consequences for getting a pet when you weren't actually ready to care for it.

It sucks, but you're the one who did this.

What were you expecting to be different? It's a puppy.


Dogs full grown have a mental age similar to a 2-3 year old human. So a puppy is equivalent to having a baby. That means you have to be responsible for it and take care of it. They're puppies for like a year 18 months tops.

No just puppy teething that I thought would have been done with by now. He doesn't break the skin but it's pretty close at times.
