It tends to be more boring at times. watching tv and something fun is on or you want to comment about it, then think yeah bugger lol. it greatly depends on where you are, city, rural etc. A good thing for peace of mind is making sure your apartment, house access points are secured and if needs be alarmed. You do tend to hear more when living on own, as there is no background noise from the other person. After a while you just get used to it really.

In my 20s it was ok. I developed my own habits and routines which have become a major issue in my marriage. I have ADD which was undiagnosed until I was 40 and OCD manifesting as moderately severe hoarding. Neither makes it easy to live with me and my wife is currently moving out after 19 years in part because of the habits I developed then. So if you're a reasonably healthy person mentally it's probably fine

I had roommates and was not scared at all but I should have been cause one of my best friends turned out to be a secret criminal. He got deported but would still harass me online for at least 9 years before leaving me alone.

I found it to be a relief with so many people not in my Business and pulling on me for everything 🤷🏻♂️. It was not easy but scraping by was worth it…

It was a challenge but not scary. It was a great opportunity for me to take charge of my life and not rely on others.

It wasn't scary at all for me I moved out of my parents house when I was 18 and I loved it I like to be my own person coming and going whenever I wanted having company over whenever I wanted it was great!

I'm going away to college in the fall and I'm kinda nervous about being away from family for a long period of time.

I don't remember it being scary. It is scarier now with all the inflation and the uncertain future.
