When I was much younger., I occasionally accompanied my mother to the weekly bingo game at our church. She won much more than I did, but I did occasionally win a game or two. Overall, though, it was my contribution to the church.

My "much younger" was in my early 20s. I was often the transportation for my mother and her 2 lady friends to bingo, and I occasionally joined them to play bingo.

I never gamble unless it’s under $15.00 and done once or twice a year but I understand that at a bar it is social and fun and not just an economic decision. Like I have been to Las Vegas at least 3 times and we gambled less than $100 in all 3 trips combined. But we go because casinos are beautiful and the shows are amazing.
Depends who I'm playing with but yes. I grew up on an island and every Friday a bunch of us would get together at sometimes house and play bingo for prizes it was so much fun honestly lol I was pretty young I was in my teens early 20s

So in my old days I went to the seaside town in England with my Grandma, I ended up winning the main prize and rather than choosing cash I took the token prize ( essentially loads of tokens which could be swapped for a cash prize). So being 11/12 I cashed it in for an action man... My Gran who lived late into her 90's never forgave me as the action man had what she called "German boots" on lol
Even at that age, I'd a took the cash lol
Going back tomorrow as noone won the jackpot last week so it'll be up to 6k must win instead of in 58 balls.. Even if don't win, was fun time

Well plus the few long island ice teas I had with the 7 or 8 jello shots.. It was fun.. You had to yell weird stuff out if you were one away from bingo.. Like taco or sausage or I'm coming🤣 or make an animal sound lolol fun place and the bingo wasn't expensive.. I'll probably go again next Monday

I used to sell lighters 4 for $1 , knives, and ball cards to Bingo people when they passed my office on their way to Bingo down the hall. Bing people sold lighters for $1 each.

Yeah, I find that while (when I’m back home anyway) I have no issue getting into nightclubs, (forget getting in anywhere in a college town). But bars are a different animal, every time a date has taken me to a bar, I’m immediately carded, even if I order something non-alcoholic, and obviously dont touch alcohol, I’m still asked to leave. It’s very embarrassing. So I tend to stick with the clubs I know, where I can skip the line and drink w/o getting carded… ever!
There is a country & western bar near my parent’s that allows under-21, but then I'm stuck listening to country music all night! Dgmw, I absolutely LOVE the western fashion. A nice loose flowing skirt, with a tight, form-fitting matching top, and gorgeous boots? Sign me up! I even look good, wearing a black cowboy hat that I “borrowed” from some guy, who seemed flattered that I took it off HIS head! But it perfectly matched my gorgeous black boots! Of course, that was only after I said “wow that hat would look SO great on me, may I borrow it for a while”?) I wore that hat all night, I offered it back to him as I was leaving, but he said I could have it, if he could have my phone #. I figured he was really cute, so I gave him my number, but nothing came of it. I always wondered what happened to him. Was he so enthusiastic about getting my number, that when I put it in his phone, he even called me immediately to make sure it really was my number! I really hope he is okay, and that he’s safe and well! I would hate To think something happened to him!
Hopefully.. And some churches have bingo, or they used to anyways.. and bingo if it's at a casino, you only have to be 18, well at the casino here anyways, might be different elsewhere
Well I know that in Vegas, it’s 21 and over, and I’m 99.9% sure that in Florida you must be over 21 to gamble, which I believe includes bingo…Especially if it takes place in a casino. The church ones are mostly old ladies. But I’ll certainly be on the look-out, I do know that the nearest casino to me (right now) is the Seminole Casino, Okeechobee which is approx 210 miles, with a lot of that trip on smaller roads w/ less than 70mph speed limit. So it takes well over 3 hours to get there. But you have my word, when I get the chance, I’ll give it a shot! My personal philosophy is always try everything at least once. That way you know if you truly like it or not.

When i coached youth soccer the league ran a bingo game every week to raise money. All the parents had to take a turn running the game. Everyone in the place smoked. I had to burn my clothes when I went home.

My mom used to take us to church bingo when we were kids/teens but I never won anything... And went to bingo at the casino a few times over the years but never won there either (well not at bingo lol)
