How to deal with loud annoying neighbors?

Question

My neighbors have parties every weekend and although the music is generally moderate, the kids are extremely loud. During the week their kids yell uncontrollably, they are running and stomping on the stairs in front of my house, knock on my door, mess with my plants. I asked them politely to tell their kids to refrain from doing that in my space. Noe is like they do it on purpose at a higher level. It’s getting yo the point that I’m being deprived from sleeping and I definitely have no other place where to go. What should I do?

I had the same problem with music being played late at night--like 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 am. I would definitely get a camera for the outside, to have footage of what they do, and record noises you hear that are keeping you awake. Whether you own the house or not, you need also to call the police and ask for a report of it (the police usually file the complaints that are called in). Get the number from the police for the copies of police reports or incidences. Why do you need these? To have proof that they are infringing on your peace and quiet, which is a right you have. If they dont care enought about what their kids are doing and ignore your requests---then you have a right to file a complaint on them. You have your proof. A small claims court is what you might need to do--but hopefully the police at their door will make them stop.

I also had some neighbors whose dog would bark all the time at all hours---and it sounded like thunder was coiming through my celing because of their rough playing with it. I live in a condo, and once I could get a report on them--they left on their own!

Record it. Kids are stupid, so they'll do it again! Record them destroying your property, knocking on the door. Use that to threaten them to go to the police.

Kids love to play and having them stop from making noise by playing is hard. Let them be kids while they still can. But their parents should teach them to not knock on people's doors when they try to sleep and destroying property is not okay.

Just go on Amazon look up Live bugs you can find a lot of alive Bugs on Amazon you can buy snakes 🐍 online as well just look up snakes for buy them and let the snakes 🐍 around or in there crib

I had the same thing happen to me and I called the police all the parents of minors had to come to get their kids and I told the police to be careful there could be weapons involved so far I believe there could be underage drinking not too sure but the police was involved with the ordeal to at least an hour none of us could sleep and it was wee hours of the morning.

I used to have neighbors who would have their music loud and had parties on the weekends. This was 20 years ago and it was so annoying with them starting their trucks in the morning like 5 a. m and yelling and shouting. Luckily they moved out as they were just renting the house next door.

Our family we're mainly the loud neighbor's only until they called the mother fcking police and then we stopped and dealed with it

So I have 2 options for you either call the police or buy ear plugs (I recommend both)

Get a car alarm and park your car in front of their house and set it off and leave for a few hours. Go back at sunrise to get it. Make sure the neighbor knows it was you.
