Are people who commit suicide powerless?

I don't think that they are powerless but they are rather just at one instant of their lives where they see no solution to their problem (s).

Actually, I do think that those that do commit suicide in full knowledge of the act they commit are actually very much in power; to such an extend that their power overrules reason and the force to live. One must be so desperate and see no way out that the second where they take the fatal step, pull the trigger or do whatever they do to end their lives is an overwhelming act of courage that I could never bring upon myself to do.

I don't have that courage and I am powerless, not the ones that take the step to end their lives.

Now there is a difference between committing suicide because of what we would see as trivial problems and the one decision of voluntary euthanasia through injection given by a doctor because the medical board sees no way to cure the illness. This kind of "suicide" is a relief from incredible physical pain rather than the suicide because of emotional problems that the victim can no longer cope with.

In my perspective they aren't. To me people who commit suicide are desperate and they see no ending for their pain. They just want to end their suffering.

Powerless is the state of mind like being happy sad excited it's the state of mind for anybody who feels powerless can't find power on their own they have to listen to stories of individuals that have been through damn near the same thing or a struggle that might be equivalent to what they're going through to be able to beat it with me and alcohol I had to get help I had to lock myself up in a rehab for a year 12 years strong the battles never won though

Most suicide people have given up hope and are emerged in a circular sense of peerless. They are 800 hotlines via Search than explain it on the phone. They are very informative. That’s how I learned the little bit that I know about it. CALL one of those numbers for Expertise that I can not relay too you.

Nope not all. it really varies between people as to why, how etc. It does come in to it, however there are other factors at times.

I think it’s quite cruel to call people who felt so depressed to the point they wanted to die powerless but I definitely do think it takes more courage to continue living through harshships than to kill oneself
