I still view suicide as weak though. I definitely believe it takes more courage to live life and not commit suicide.
Weak is definitely not the right word for it. Calling it weak is in fact indirectly harmful to suicidal people. Same with calling it "selfish," which is another really common one.
Calling it a "bad idea" might be more accurate, but terms like "weak" or "selfish" really don't help suicidal people in the slightest. All it does is cause them even further shame than they're already feeling. And if anything will just make them double down on their suicidal thoughts/plans due to their extra shame.
"Selfish" is actually ESPECIALLY bad because it's making it more about the people around the person than the person themself, ironically making it even more selfish. That the person who never asked to be born should be forced to live just cuz others might feel bad.
And it's kind of ironic when people who never cared about suicidal person in question suddenly start to act like they were the person's best friend when alive. People who just kind of told the person to fuck off whenever the person came to them.
And I myself know about all this due to me myself being suicidal and having tons of other mental illnesses. And before you ask, yes, I'm in therapy and taking medications.
I've never really had any friends my whole life and basically zero contact with the rest of my family so literally only my mom and dad would miss me, two people. The day they die I might as well just commit suicide because no one gives a shit about me otherwise. Can't be selfish if there's no one left alive who gives a shit about you.
Depressing as hell I know, but as is the nature of suicide or suicidal people in general.
I hope you get well soon. You may have not met them yet but I am guessing there is probably people out there who care about you.
Yes. It takes courage to face today's world. But even the strongest are "giving up" to the modern age resentful humans. There are quite a few on this platform with private accounts going against posts from guys sharing their stories.
If life is easy everyone could...
There will always be problems in life. But you should know - some who died want to live. And suicide is not a solution. All the people who would miss you - even you don't have that in your mind. Maybe it needs time to find a way. If you suffer because of an illness, I could understand. A broken heart or mean people are not a reason. That makes you stronger. Learn and live. Trial and error. Grow. Make your way. Show all the others what you are. Your strength. Your stamina. And at the end of your life you will see that was a good decision. Of course everyone makes mistakes but it is important to try to do the best.
I view it as selfish, as suicide benefits no one but the person trying to end their own pain. In doing so, they cause pain to countless others.

I don't think that's the right word for it. Maybe lost. In pain selfish in many ways. Feeling no way out. .
But i can tell you this i have talk to two different people different parts of the world that did it and the. Story they told me. Was really heart breaking. It's was pretty close to the same story. But both thank God they were aloud to come back. They also both said it was the biggest mistake they had ever made. And they have nightmares. Of what they seen and heard. But when they did it they watched themselves leave there body they traveled the speed of sound. It's was fast they said I when they'll got to where they were going. The where put in a cage and one person said there were thousand of people in cages crying and begging to not be there to go home the other person said the same thing except. There were people walking around but they couldn't hear the people crying. ... they both were so scared. It wasn't meant to happen they got a chance to plead there case and explained what and why they did what the did
They were told if they get to come back to make it there mission to tell people life is a gift. And they got to come here to do something and had to do it before they went home... and next thing they new they were back in there body's. They both said that's what they do now it changed there life. And they were lucky. They felt because. We are given internal life and to live for ever in a cage was 1000 times worse then what they were going through in life on this planet..
But if someone is thinking about it please seek help. Dm me. Let's talk there is always a way to fix what ever it is
Im sure like all of us you have been through your ups and downs
life is not easy sometimes. And for most life changes every day
And i think people who are thinking about this.. dont allow the world to chafe. They keep themselves in that sane rut every day
14 days it takes to brain wash someone. It's probably less time if you're doing it to yourself
Well, any yes, I agree with o afree with everyone that answered your. Qyestion. But there is a way out. .
I would love to chat with you if that's ok. i mean, are you ok I've been through hell and back.
And I show you the light in any darkness. And it will change your life. For the best.
Thankyou and yes I am okay. I hope you have a good day.
Thanks. 🙏
Is it weak? No, it's a choice that you have, although it's a choice that will have an impact on other people's lives as well. You're not alone in this world. A solution can usually be found to whatever happened.
Is it the right choice? I doubt it. Life has a lot of things on offer, especially in the age group you are in now. You have a different perception now than you had when you were a teenager. You will have a different perception of things when you'll be 30. Or at the age of 40 or 50. It's a matter of going through stages and each stage makes you stronger and more confident in your abilities.
No. Not Weak. Weak is a negative word implying you aren't strong enough to navigate the pain you're feeling. People who project weakness upon you have never endured crippling emotional pain. The courage that it takes to say "no more" and leave all of life's possibilities behind is monumental.
Please punch 988 into your phone and talk to the people on the national suicide prevention hotline. Those people are equipped to help you understand your pain and see as part of a bigger picture.

No, it is desperation. We can't know what others are going through.
Richard Cory (pub. 1897)
Whenever Richard Cory went down town,
We people on the pavement looked at him:
He was a gentleman from sole to crown,
Clean favored, and imperially slim.
And he was always quietly arrayed,
And he was always human when he talked;
But still he fluttered pulses when he said,
"Good-morning," and he glittered when he walked.
And he was rich – yes, richer than a king –
And admirably schooled in every grace:
In fine, we thought that he was everything
To make us wish that we were in his place.
So on we worked, and waited for the light,
And went without the meat, and cursed the bread;
And Richard Cory, one calm summer night,
Went home and put a bullet through his head.
Weak is the wrong word to use for those that decide to commit suicide. It's quite sad and complex what a person who reaches that point goes through. I personally have almost reached that point. It's a lonely and somber feeling. You feel like you're better off dead than alive and that the people around you will be fine without you. Yes it may be selfish but the weight of feeling hopeless and empty and sullen inside is just too much.
I don't view it as weak, it takes real fortitude to do it after all, but I do view it as foolish. In the vast majority of cases, particularly with young people, it is a permanent and irrevocable "solution" to what are nearly always temporary and passing problems.
Hello
How are you
@mistresskate Howdy. Share your thoughts.
suicide isn't really about being "weak." its your mental being so fucked that you just can't see any point in living. ik it seems easy to dismiss but not everyone has had the advantages others have had
its kinda like when you're really tired and your whole priorities are off. you dont care as much and just want to sleep. you're not YOU
I view it as tragic. Depression is a real disease, not a moral failing. If you are having thoughts of suicide, please seek professional help. Any physician can prescribe an anti-depressant. Welbutrin helps me. I was seriously depressed at about your age. It gets better, and it gets better faster with professional help.
No it’s not weak. Though you have been through unhappy moments, maybe you haven’t been through the day-to-day pain of a suicidal person that seems to never end. Often, most of their life as a whole has been filled with misery. It’s not just a once in a while type of thing.
Suicide is only an option by physical pain that goes worse every day and there is chance for healing or any improvement. Of course there are effective opioids but at some point your body becomes resistant or develops an allergy against any kind of analgesics, what then?
Suicide because of some psychic problems is idiotic. Mental pain is imaginary and temporally, it doesn't justify a suicide in my opinion.
No, it isn't. People who have committed suicide were hopeless and felt that there was no other way. You're in no position whatsoever to judge anyone who has committed suicide. So, just be more mindful about that, okay?
It might be weak for some but a hero for others, it depends on your faith and how your view things in life...
I believe that suicide is the wrong and dark side, there will always be chances in your life, plus your life is precious, you shouldn't waste it easily!
@Dongie thanks 🙂
yeah it's pretty much the weakes and the most reckles and the most ignorantly selfish act. it doesn't take courage to take yourself out of every responsibility there is and to leave everyone behind to deal with the mental trauma and all the undone business you left behind.
everyone deals with demons. that's normal. not managing it alone is normal. just deciding to not manage it at all and instead let others do it completely is weak.
No, I actually think it takes more courage to off yourself without knowing what lies beyond death if anything at all. I think it's sad and we shouldn't judge them in any case, they should seek help from family/friends or professionals.
From an outsider's perspective, it is a cowardly act. However, from the perspective of the suicidal, killing themselves is doing the world a favor.
They are convinced that they are a burden on everyone around them and that they do nothing but screw up all of their lives. That belief plagues their lives so much that they think that the only solution is to remove themselves from the equation altogether.
To get to that point where suicide is on your mind you've probably been beat down so much to the point where it seems like the only way out so they would probably be weak minded at that point.
I could only ever imagine how low someone must be feeling to actually want to end their life, and you should feel lucky that you have never had those thoughts or feelings either.
Thats been the saying, to take the easy way out! But until you've been their how can you know? I see it as taking huge courage to destroy yourself. Or just insanity. I say it's easy to keep on living! Hard is pulling that trigger!
I don't view it as weak , nor do I view it as strong.
Lost a number of friends this way sadly.
Not weak in the slightest. It's other's opinion that it's weak tgat stresses folk who've just had enough and should have rights to end it if that's their choice.
I don't think you ever reached a point so mentally low that this suicide thought gets turned into stupid decisions
It's pretty selfish. Some poor bastard has to clean up the scene. Not to mention the other poor sod who discovers the body. Neither of those is pleasant.
Simples...
More like crazy, that's usually the reason behind suicide.
I think suicide is horrible, yet I recognize that some people have mental illness and don’t get the proper help…
I don't know. I think if you detonate asuicide vest to kill a dozen of the enemy it is not.
Yes that's the cowards way out and what about the people that love you that you leave behind. Dying is easy living is hard. Bad times dont last always just weather the storm and things will get better
Well no I view it as the person has a mental illness
Wait until you get to be my age and see everyone around you pass away friends family pets then you start to wonder what the hell you're still doing here
You too. I've 6 friends I call my best friends in my adult life. 2 of them since age 14 and 15. 5 are gone one at age 46 another 48, then Hunter, the top of the line died in 2011 at 51 from lung cancer. The lone survivor got on meth and haphazardly screwed me out of 5k 20 years ago. The last died in a bike crash in 2023. Then there are my 2 double first cousins who passed at age 53 and 57. That's all been since 2011 till 23. I'm alone but for a couple of renters and two sisters, one has breast cancer, and her three kids.
But, there is always tomorrow. Cece has helped in every way.
@Dongie the love of my life Danielle has breast lumps i continuously pray for her healing health and well-being
@Dongie if it's fenbezenol it doesn't work i tried it numerous times with my own C
Yes, when the world is against you don't be against yourself, you only have yourself
It's not weakness it's listlessness. Your life stagnate. Nothing gets better or worse, ut just us. There's no drive or motivation anymore.
Nah. Nobody is happy when they commit suicide. It happens when they have no choice, no hope and no help.
Suicide is a choice.
No, it takes courage to say "I had enough of this crap".
Younger me would have, but life has beaten me to a point that I empathize entirely.
Nope, it’s brave action
@EzraIsShy76028 we spoke about this lmao
Nope. I don't think suicide is for the weak. I don't encourage it but I'm definitely empathetic towards people dealing with those feelings
Wow. Literally. Like literally just yesterday or the day before yesterday or so.
@EzraIsShy76028 are you secretly pink account? /J
🤣🤣🤣
No, but you're honestly not THAT far off. In the past I definitely used to multi-account across all social medias/websites/apps. Eventually I stopped cuz it just seemed like an immature thing to do + it can be hard to keep track of so many accounts. Better to have just one. 😂👍
@EzraIsShy76028 ever had a girl account?
Mostly, but not always.
commiting suicide means your abusers win
Nope.
I agree.
Yes. Kinda
Yes. And cowardly.
Nope just sad
