How often do you use the word F#$? when do you speak?

All the time, I don’t even think about it, really. I don’t really believe in “curse words”, that seems very silly to me, conceptually. “Bad” words, just lmfao. And I bet no one here can even tell me why it’s a supposedly bad word without looking up the origin, which is probably from a time no longer relevant to us, anyway. We just got told that we shouldn’t say it, and we stupidly didn’t question it. Question EVERYTHING anyone presents to you as “well, that’s just the way it is”, because it’s likely nonsense. Words ultimately mean whatever you mean them as in that particular moment.

So with that said…I say it pretty frequently. As others have said here, it has tremendous versatility. Despite my feelings about swearing in general, I am aware that others don’t share in my belief and I do my best to honor what most people’s expectations are in public settings, and even though little kids are the ones in mid-brainwash, I begrudgingly respect others’ rights to teach their kids not to swear, so I try to watch myself when I can. More often, I just avoid being around kids, because I can’t be conscious of my speech for very long before I slip into habit.

It’s definitely one of my most used words though. Excitement, frustration, it’s all covered. It’s even a pause word for me. I don’t usually say “uhhh…” or “ummm…” if I’m gathering thoughts mid-speech, I’ll instead say “fuckiiiiinnnn’…”😂

Not around strangers, but it's a word I normally use often as a noun, verb, adverb, exclamation, or as emphasis. It's a very versatile word. :-)

@Sour-rose Thanks. I use it all the fucking time. Just a word. I don't know why people get their panties in such a bunch. It's nothing more than a noise people make with some sort of meaning attached to it. They wouldn't have any problem with words like intercourse or mating or sex or making love or even banging, but they start clutching their pearls if someone says fuck. It means exactly the same thing, it just has a different noise. Apparently people get offended by noises.
