Why does making-out always has to lead to sex in movies?

When I was dating a boyfriend for only a month, we made out and nope it didn't lead to taking our clothes off and jumping into bed. We actually spent quality time first and we focused on getting to know each other better.

Why do all movies do that? You just met someone yesterday, you're making out and it ends with sex. You only like the person, been hanging out for a week (not boyfriend and girlfriend yet), you made out and it's sex. You're kissing in the car and it's sex again. I think the only time kissing didn't lead to sex it's when the movie has a religious girl waiting for marriage.
