Why do guys make everything sexual?

As a woman, there have been countless of times where I was hit on, and sexually harassed by men. Even at times, I'd post something compeltely lighthearted and innocent, and I'd still get innapropriate messages from men after posting it. I genuiely don't understand why men can take something so innocent and pure and make it into something distorted. I've also recently shared a myTake on how guy friends can be wonderful, but yet and still I got negativity from men who insisted that all of my guy friends only wanted to sleep with me. It's absurd to me. Why are guys like this?

I'm not speaking about all men in general, because there are some good ones out there. But judging by what I've seen, it's almost like nothing can be innocent anymore when so many guys always seem to paint things in a rather inappropriate light.

Men are at their sexual peak with sex hormones from age 12 to about 40. Many men have super high sex drives, and most women will never have a sex drive that high, so women will not understand it. But women who transition to men sure understand it and are shocked by it. The hormones make a man think of sex every minute, it can be really distracting. So all their thoughts are based on something sexual.

Besides, the less sex men get the more "sexual tension" they build up and that makes them think of sex even more! And for some men, happy fapping is no substitute for actual sex with a person. It will not release much sexual tension for long, i. e. it is not very fulfilling.

because many on the internet feel like it is a portal for boorish behavior. because there is little accountability and real life consequence for actions they can say and do things on the internet that they wouldn't in real life.

as for being hit on. that's the nature of being.

I believe it's their hormones, nature, the idiocy of this era + normal beings are hard to find no matter the gender.

I was often laughed at for saying that my best friends were guys, being told that they're just waiting, trying to get out of the friendzone. I'm sorry for people who are saying that because they're missing out so much.

some make it sexual cos they cannot think of anything but, to them women are pieces of meat there to satiate their needs...
others have little to no control over their desires or intentions which makes them come across as shallow and single minded...
which can cause many issues for the rest of us who genuinely want a respectable respectable relationship

I'm glad you recognise there are some good guys out there, and I understand exactly where you are coming from
but maybe the issue is the type of guy, or the age group of the guys as older guys have less of the "world owes me" rhetoric that younger guys have

Because most men don't really need a friend. Most men are looking for something romantic. So we can put forth an attempt and either nothing happens and we are in no worse a position than before OR it works and we now we got the girl. Personally I don't have time to have long conversations with a girl to just be a friend. I am busy living my life, my only buddies are both men and women who share my hobbies with me. So if you can't ride a motorcycle or rock climb or wake board I probably don't want to be your friend. If I talk intimately with you and have long conversations, you better be someone I am dating.
