Is it offensive if someone tells a performer they don’t like their choice of music?

I won’t go into detail but I dance at a venue and a member of staff said to me , just after I finished my performance that she didn’t like one of the songs I chose and she looked pretty disgusted lol. Is this offensive or just voicing an opinion?

I mean, one negative opinion from someone who isn't really your audience isn't that big a deal.

She wasn't even your audience, and wouldn't be paying you. So her opinion frankly doesn't really matter.

Only you can say whether you were offended or not, though.

I would register that as an unwarranted opinion that is sort of rude. But i wouldn't react outwardly. It's like whatever.
