Sometimes you can tell a lot about a person by the kind of music they listen to.

I wouldnāt say I judge them, I find that kind of douchey. What someone else listens to is of no consequence to me. It doesnāt make them better or worse of a person for not liking the music I deem to be the best. Iām not 100% on it if I really think about it, but I definitely donāt endeavor to be like that.
For me, the most important quality in music is that it has lyrics that graphically and horrifyingly depict the illegal drug trade and the associated violence😂😂😂 Iām not all the way serious, I listen to all kinds of genresā¦. but when it comes to rap, which is my favorite, that is absolutely, positively true lmfao. And thatās not for everyone, for sure😝 And I guess if it isnāt for someone, maybe I do assume them to be a little more soft than me, haha. But Iām not like āI canāt know this person and have a positive relationship with themā, that would be crazy.
Itās probably fair to say that it might give you some insight on the person though. But itās not foolproof. My old man, back when I was in high school and he was in his 60s, heād sometimes listen to Eurodance music, which I would NEVER assume from him😂
https://www.youtube.com/embed/LO-E4w6rgTQBut people like what they like, I donāt have to listen to their music and they donāt have to listen to mine. Life would be boring if everyone I hung out with was just like me.
Itās funny how sometimes people judge mine and then I listen to theirs with an open ear and mind, and then by the end of a small handful of listens thereās just nothing there for me. Or the artist makes an a-hole of themselves and itās like added contextā¦ āoh and you STILL think this is good?ā Nah broā¦ lol
I firmly believe with music thereās just like a vibe that either, it resonates, or it doesnātā¦ like your mind and ears are tuned into a certain frequency like a radio, and itās like some people can hear what you like and they just donāt get itā¦ like my brother is a perpetual metal listener. I used to listen to a ton of it too, still do sometimes, but most of what heās into just sounds so low-down and depressing, like it kind of affects my mood negatively now, to be honest.
In a weird way itās almost like the saying āmisery loves companyā and itās like if you find music that really fits in with the happier side of you, people will poke fun at you, they want you to feel like they do, because it seems to only be the low-down people that judge to begin with. Theyāre grasping at something, ANYTHING, that they can get over on you with, so they can feel better about themselves.
Once I came to realize this, hohhā¦ manā¦ because musicā¦ it aināt that serious. Kind of exposed what those people are. 😬
I judge people if their music style is rigid and inflexible.
I judge judgmental people.
For me, the real love of music is - Being able to sing a song sang by the villagers and enjoy the opera too.
Quite broadā¦ Just about anything.
I find people who judge othersā tastes, very inflexible and narrow minded.
I donāt judge, I only do so to the ones who judge others.Sometimes.
Especially if its certain country and pop music.
"Big truhcks, cowld beeer. Hawt gurls, cowrn fieeelds." Yeah, what a lyrical masterpiece.
"Baby, baby, baby. Oh oh, baby yeah baby". Mhm, I'm bangin my head to that for sure.Nope just cause our ear holes like certain frequencies doesn't mean anything lol
No I do not, but I am very comfortable with the music I listen to.
