Do you like brightly coloured painted houses?

I really love visiting countries in which bright colors are traditional. The ones I've been to are Ireland and Mexico. They make my eyes smile.

I lived in apartments for years and got sick of white walls. When we bought our house, my wife and I painted the rooms in our house colorfully. Some are cheerful and some are peaceful.
I mean I don’t like bright colours personally but I guess they look cute.. put it this way, it’s better then an old chipped painted house but at the same time if you live in one then imagine all the tourists taking insta pics in front of them all the time which can get pretty tedious.
I’m imaging the colourful houses in Chelsea in london or Notting hill haha.. too much attention. But pretty!
I like it, it's pretty. It's eye catching and different from seeing the same bland beige/white houses. We've seen some houses with crazy ugly colors, but most if time I just thought "mm I don't know that color is kinda ugly lol" but that's about it, I don't demand people change the color of their homes.
They're good if the entire neighborhood looks that way. Buildings in Scandinavia are often colorfully painted... Bergen Norway is a prime example.
I know of a guy who painted his house purple just to piss off the local HOA, which sued him... and lost. All other houses in the HOA were beige or tan.

I find that pink a little too much but generally it can be really pretty, I remember the little places in Italy along the coast and the beautiful colorful houses and it was really beautiful
I wouldn't paint my house a bright color. But I don't mind them. Also if I was having a bad day or the weather was crap that would be the street that I would want to walk down. Just because it might help brighten my mood.
I've been joking with the missus we should paint ours pink. Living in a northern city here in ol' Blighty it'd stand out like a sore thumb. I love the coastal villages and the colours.
Sadly the missus wants to paint ours grey. Sigh!
I like it a lot, it makes the whole atmosphere brighter and bring a hint of happiness to it
In some places it's nice. I was in Italy a few years ago and visited Burano, a small island next to Venice. Lots of house like this.

Sure, I'd love a purple house... beats the hell out of the many towns that look run down and shoddy due to extremely harsh winters, where everyone's houses have the same kind of protection and its all some boring grey or brown color.
Don't forget brick colored. Town where I went to school: https://www.zillow.com/richmond-va/townhomes/
I like it. There's a lot like that in Bristol. Mine's a boring white.
I do like brightly colored houses. I like bright colors in general, but they don't suit me personally very well.
It depends on the character of the area. If all the houses are vibrant hues that's cool, but one wanker suddenly painting the exterior luminous green is annoying
Depends on the colors. Those are pretty offensive. Wouldn’t whine about it though. Just paint mine black.
Nahh.. not into brightly coloured painted house 😂
I got mine with broken white painted combined them with white and gray color
Yes as we are loading color in our life ask your self which colour cloth do your daily for work what the colour 9f your working building
Towns generally being boring grey, some coloured houses may add something good for the eyes and mind.
Yes I do but it does depend on where they are based. Near the coast makes more sense but in the middle of London then it seems redundant and a waste of colour.
It does spruce up an otherwise boring neighborhood.
Quite popular in the Caribbean.
They are cute but there should be a line saw a neon green house once
It’s not really my thing I prefer darker colours or white when it comes to houses or like a nice log cabin style house or brick house.
no I prefer an industrial 20th century vibe, my bias is from cities in the rust belt bc that's where i'm from
like old architecture with 21st century amenities
Yes.
Usually those colors lose intensity in a year or two.
my house is not brightly colored but these houses look very nice
No I do not like brightly colored anything and prefer neutral natural colors.
depends on the color and the area if its completely random n the color shouldn't be bright then no.
They're cute "aww"😊 but not cute "I want one just like that"😍
I think they're cute, always makes me think of family holidays in Cornwall.
Yeah it’s like that in Iceland and Chile , coastal houses mostly. I heard they use the leftover paint from the ships that are painted
I love them! Buildings with one dull colour are quite boring.
I had no idea houses are that way in England. They're basically the same in my country
No I don't like it. I love it. I think it would be fun to have a different not normal boring dull house like everyone else
I preffer grafitty painted houses they are a lot more imaginative not blank and dull
UK has more important things to worry about these days, like World Cup 2022
Not really a big fan of them, but terms of art they are okay.
I like it. I like bright colors.
most of the houses in the UK are bland,
What's the story in balamoray lol
God that pink house is awful
I think they’re pretty
Yes, in some places it looks good.
