Why are sales associates so pushy?

Well the point is buy this mofo or they be seen as the weakest salesperson and gets fired within a week if they don't sell the next customer. They useless to the company if they can't meet the quota. Don't meet the quota; you cost the company money. You eat their no money and no work, ya can fk off.

They need to eat and pay rent too, kiddo. Sales and signups are their way of getting a bit of extra pay.

Best way to avoid their pushy sales is to actually talk to them about the day, what they are watching etc.

That way they know you're being nice, not negative.

Like it’s already been mentioned, it’s how they are trained. But some companies give staff bonuses/commission if they sell something.
