My only concern is during summer time. ☀️

Mm only in a healthy, lush-green area, or some city that’s nice. Thinking more like Cali/ San Francisco/ maybe.. Colorado..
~not any place with too much snow or insanely hot. Can’t look like a plain desert and can’t be cold, grey, and dreary.
Really need the color/ wildlife/ or city life to liven it up.
I've already decided I'm never buying a black car again, so definitely no on the house. Unless I ever moved somewhere obscenely cold

I've noticed this recently, too. Interesting.
It's too much black. I don't like the seamless look in this context/product. I'd prefer the trim to be black and the house something else (perhaps like a dark greige or something.)
It will absorb a lot of light, and cost more to cool, yes.
The most popular house colour, with buyers, is white. I don't think this trend will last. Most trends, the more costly the item, the longer the trend lasts. It tends to be approx. 10 years with house colours, and furniture. But these are shortening, in today's media-frenzy world, where ideas are passed around so easily. But all-black will not appeal to most people.
It is very interesting, how the pink and blue votes are almost identical, but inverted. I'm very surprised about this vote.
At first, I thought this was a race thing. Like "another Obama elected president and all his cabinet members would be black."
I think it looks okay, but I vote no because of how many cars and animals are going to be crashing into your house when it's night. It's practically going to be invisible then.
I like dark gray for an interior (in which the house exterior above could pass for that and looks sexy in the day time), but as an exterior black or dark gray wouldn't be too smart especially in the night hour
I cannot picture neighborhoods with all black houses. It might be good for Halloween night, but it looks spooky like the Bates Hotel in the movie Psycho! Don't do it. You'll scare the children half to death.
Black is my favorite color, but I also would not want to live in a giant oven every summer. Lol
If I lived somewhere it’s always cold, good idea then.

I love the aesthetic, but I would need lots of big windows and natural lighting. But I do like the black homes. And exterior doesn’t need to match interior.
It looks nice, at least the picture shown, but I feel like it most have some cons, probably some that will make it seem like it's not worth having.
Like art effect of indians are token picture.
In a colder climate, it makes sense
Also stands out compared to the gray or white bland cookie-cutter suburbs.
Agreed. It would be too dark for my roasting area.
TRICK OR TREAT? ... lol
It looks ugly and it's going to absorb a lot of heat, making it not very eco-friendly w/r/t cooling costs.
be warm in the summer eh? I have a feeling it might look pretty crappy if you dont repaint every year (or 2 min)
I can't believe GaG is allowing this "Woke" nonsense to be posted!
It's fine for a witch. I like it, but I think I'd like a lighter color or prettier color.
Always wanted a super modern/contemporary black house if I ever had the money to build it.
Depends what it is made of. Not really my thing
It can look sleek and expensive if done in a good shade.
I think black is a pretty cool colour, but looks a bit shit on a house. The summer problem would be a big reason not to for me, with summers reaching up to 40°C.
Looking at this made me realize how I never seen a black house before.
Perfect places where it is cool or plenty of shade for the home. Otherwise, it's a terrible idea anywhere else.
Anything new is welcomed, too many of the same designs everywhere
The way Joe's going at it, I'm sure it'll BE black, soon!
Maybe great somewhere above the artic circle but not anywhere that gets hotter than 50 degrees
It looks interesting, better than painting it all red and calling it hell like they did in that spaghetti western that Clint Eastwood was in
In a cold climate, yes. In Hawaii, he’ll no!
There should be no problems in the summer if the insulation is at or near Passiv House standards.
If you have ever taken the temperature of a dark surface vs a light surface on a sunny, hot day, you would not even consider a black house.
I think it’s the house that Obama should be in
Yes, black house mixes up a little. Plus black paint is cheap.
No, definitely not my thing. But it sure would stand out.
No, it will look like crap in a few years
mine has been black for a while now... lol
My black heart loves it 🖤
Maybe in Alaska.
Too stinking hot where I live for that.
That’s horrible as for Halloween
I like it. Fuck all who don't.
I would need a bright house lol
The one you posted looks nice.
I love it.
I like it!
Looks cool
Never thought of it.
That's werid
