Depends on the problem! Divorce. It's not the kid's fault, but it's in the middle of all of it, so it becomes a problem for the kid.

I don't think you get it. for example, when someone else screwed up in something you were involved in, you technically don't consider it YOUR fault. however, you're still somehow responsible for what that person did. so it's not your fault but it's still your problem
