We hand wash pots and pans. We do put sponges in the top rack of the dishwasher to wash.

We have lined up some thick silicone placemats in the past.

I posted that photo for all the dog owners out there & I’m sure they can relate to that photo. You open the dishwasher & it’s like ringing the dinner bell if you have a dog. Putting Silicone placemats in your dishwasher is a good idea & thank you for sharing.

Dogs are truly special & growing up my family had a few. A Dalmatian, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel & a Beagle Lab mix or something like that. I also had a rabbit & a lot of fish. As for me now I have a palm tree named Hercules.
