Help, I'm surrounded by lovers. I just want better. Am I being too harsh?

Where I currently live I've interacted well associated with some neighbors my age to a little older. They have no goals. You talk to them and all they do is work at a grocery store ot some job that doesn't make ends meet. None of them have goals to be or want better. Then the guy that I've become cool with now trying to ask me to go out with him for drinks. I'm not interested in him but he is persistent even though I ignore his text asking to go out. Like what doesn't the guy get? I'm feeling I should move to a better environment.

Maybe you just need to move to some higher-class neighborhood where people have money and decent jobs. You don't find a prince in a pig sty.

Agree, when I first moved here wasn't like this at all. And the price was great while in college. I do plan on moving when my lease is up

oh lord those type of people. yeah i've dealt with that myself and it sucks best to avoid those type of people

lord i know how you feel. i known several deadbeat women who had dead end jobs and one with no job and criticized me when i was out of work for a few months looking for one while she sponged off her parents who then forced her to get a job after i brought up that fact to her in front of them and she hated me after that. and the ones with the dead end jobs i asked them why they never invested their money and they never could give an answer. it was sickening to see. I rather a woman have no job and make her own money and invest it then have some woman who has no job and no investments no financial knowledge or financial education or a dead end job with nothing for investments. i can not for the life of me tolerate that sort of shit. i dealt with it i couldn't stand it.
I rather her not work for some shit company work for herself and invest then see her not have a job or work some dead end job with no investments
