u +1 yyes, I am confident and that came from my actual life experiences... in which I was NOT confident at all
I used to very extremely shy as a young kid, insecure because of it, more like unsure about so many things and I would hesitate a lot, always on guard and wary of people and experiences with people
inside my own world and my very inner circles though, it was different, it felt very familiar and therefore safe... and because of other challenges in my young life besides being extremely shy, I just started to work on these things for many years, all my childhood and all the way till my late teen years
after 16 year of gradual work and progress I just reached some sort of balance within myself... a lack of confidence comes from the insecurity and uncertainty of things many, but well... I am very familiar with all those already, so nowadays I just don't "fear" them anymore... I did gain my confidence through experience and struggle, and little by little, I ended up turning MANY bad experiences into more positive ones46 Reply- +1 y

+1 yI wanna try and summarize three great responses into one. @blackcupcake @sour-rose and @NathanDavis
I think confidence is these three:[blackcupcake]: knowing your own strengths (trusting that/them), [sour rose]: not caring what others think (understanding you are at your own pace, and not performing, but actually focusing on *functioning and your own peace of mind), and [NathanDavis]: learning with trial and error experiences. (Becoming aware of any lurking dangers and/or challenges), and understanding those negatives
because when you understand the weak points, the strong points, and the functions of the things that scare you, you know how to defeat them. Youâre aware of how you can cope from them, you know how to avoid some of them, or override those things.
so, I truly love all three of their answers and I think combined, they make up a great recipe for *untouchable confidence.*
While, I may have all three (I think), I also know Iâm not perfect in all three, and thereâs always more room to really fine-tune and perfect these aspects in my own life.
confidence: ⢠Understand your strong points
⢠Not worrying about others
â˘Understanding the challenges/ fears and working with what you know against them
Not only are these three a âpeace of mindâ
itâs logical, and itâs taking action
~confidence is putting your mind at ease, being logical, and having a plan or an idea of a plan for the challenges you know that exist. Itâs not foreign. Itâs not unachievable. Itâs doable. Itâs possible. Be comfortable and be ready.
Wonderful shares. Thanks to those three for sharing their personal experiences, with confidence. Those were the highlights for this question, in my opinion.

@Jennz6 thanks a bunch đ
I feel more confident when I take care of myself, my external appearance, tahts what people and thatâs what you see in the mirrorâŚ
sometimes what makes me confident about projects or at work is just being prepared and realistic, taht goes a very long way, ie getting rid of irrational thinking or negative self talk but that usually happens only if Iâm in a positive circle, with self care good mindset etc, lots of things come into play and also you need to be good at what your doing thereâs no point being confident with something youâre terrible at just move to something youâre good at
Also I try to be positive and have a âhigherâ perspective and then itâs not about me and I donât need to be confident

I'm very confident with myself and everything I do because I have either been there before or I have taken on something and people might think that it was failure but there's no such thing as failure without falling down you can't get back up they work hand in hand every single day life is an experience and with every experience no matter how many times we experience it we grow
If you're honest with yourself you like yourself you try to become the best of whatever it is you're experiencing I mean how many questions on here how many of the same questions on here have you answered over and over and every time that you answer that question you have a new insight a new intake is because your experiencing it different and new life is the same way in life like I said if you like yourself you love yourself when you fall down you get back up you understand why you fell and you become better you try not to fall again just like when you were 2 years old trying to learn how to walk you would fall down but you would get back up and you would do it over and over until you got it right and that experience is knowledge that experiences wisdom that experience is liking yourself enough to become better and leaving all drama and all the b******* behind that's what makes me confident experiencing things20 Reply
