So would you rather take your pet trick or treating than your child and how would you react if someone brought a dog to your house asking for a treat for it?

I don't and I wouldn't suggest it with all the risks of people not seeing the pets. I can't tell you how many times my niece use to give people feral snarls towards people not paying attention despite she would make her bunny glow in the dark with glow rings. At this point we just leave all the pets are her place as its not worth the risk. With the exception of her giant snake which always makes others yelp when people realize she's going about with a solid 5 ft snake/ball python. (It curls around her neck and waist and will stick its head on top of hers and just chill there its always hilarious when people realize there are two pairs of eyes looking at them and no there isn't anything you have to fear about the snake it is often really cool out where we live so the snake is more focused on trying to stay warm and its just observing its surroundings so its very much not dangerous to anyone as its pretty much in a state of being lethargic. When night comes around. It will though stare you down XD.)
How gay…. sure and his water bowl. I’m in a super wicked decorated Historic first Neighborhood and small plastic wine 🍷 cups are given out until we run out. Across the street are the 1900-1945 Family starters for the kids.
I’m the poorest one so I have to buy mine from wine store… 20 cases from Trader’s Joe.
The Downtown bars are one City Block away. We get to see all the costumes as we are First Stop from 7pm-9pm. I have 5 decorated dispensers of refreshments in cracker barrel rocking chairs doing my work as I am rarely there past 8pm. Those guys can knock out 200.00 worth of martini 🍸 favors. It’s either that or the 🍷 so….
I have ring camera so I know when they clock out at 9pm. It’s once a year fun but no alcohol for Christmas tour….
Nope! A few years back I watched a dog get hit by a car on Halloween. It was soo bad like everyone was running up to it cuz they thought it was a kid that got hit. So please everyone keep your dogs at home on Halloween.
Ohh yeah definitely, my future dog is also going to be getting dressed up for Halloween, carnival and Christmas haha

I've never had a dog but I probably would take it out if I went. We do, however, buy a package of dog treats so that if dogs come to the door, they get a treat too (and a communal bowl of water).
Surprising (or perhaps not) how many kids want a dog biscuit too...
I would say that I have no treats for pets, but I have treats for pet owners, then happily give chocolate to the pet owner while asking if I could pet the animal. Dogs and cats often love scratches as much as treats.
I've always felt that vandalizing a home for not having treats is stupid and infantile. And I reserve the right to protect my property violently if necessary, so...
I had my doberman hold the candy bucket handle one year. I was surprised by how many parents were thrilled with it.
I'd take my dogs trick or treating but I'd worry about one of mine getting too warm, and the other would be too hard to find something that fits. I've tought about taking buying clothes for my uromastyx just for fun. But she's too much of a diva.
Sure I'll get a BIG Bull Mastiff and for Halloween name him CUJO and have him chase people on Halloween lol jk no I would not do that.
I remember when I was younger their was a time people would catch others pets moatly cats and sacrifice them and hang the dead animals places.
Tried it once.
Sadly had to bury Goldie the goldfish afterwards.
Maybe I needed to take the fishtank in hindsight...
I used to do something similar as a kid... with my Luna dog, lol
I really do not think that nowadays Luna cat is going to be that cooperative, lmao
That would be fun but people will get scared at the door seeing a 120 pound female Rottweiler from the past that they don’t know
My dog loved getting dressed up too!
never seen a pet trick or treating, maybe for safety? But parents stay back, kids ring door in Seattle
No, our dog stays home and scares the kids when the door opens. If they don't run away, they get candy.
I would report the owner to animal abuse. Candy isn't good for pets.
Yes! We usually bring my dog along and he gets super excited. Definitely a good idea if you haven't tried it before
I’ve got a black Cat so no I don’t wish to take my black cat trick or treating.
I would not dress my cats up in costume and take them out trick or treating.
Yeah right after I teach them how to drive the car.
My dog doesn't like walking and he's old. Plus I wouldn't trust him biting someone.
My cat is 100% domesticated indoors. Never take him outside.
I'm not even taking myself trick or treating. It's not safe out there
Lovely idea. But i dont likę to do the“ trick or treating? „.
Yeah and they'd leave a treat on the lawn of every house with sub par candy.
My cat only allows to be naked.
Don't think that would go well.
no, too many people, they might get too nervous.
No, since it’d be a high traffic area.
Good way to get out and meet new people.
Maybe if they weren’t pu- I couldn’t
Hahaha!!!
Nope
