It’s fine they’re only kids once
It’s wrong I hate that

The kid will then always throw a tantrum to get what they want, even into adulthood. The parents are doing the kid no favor to give in. Most parents give in as for them it is easier to give in than to deal with their fits.
Exactly my thoughts too
Truth
It’s irritating and the kid learns that bad behaviour and a tantrum makes mom and dad give in to demands. It’s a slippery slope from there to spoilt brat that can’t be told no

I don't agree with it, as I think teaching them discipline from a young age is the best method.
At the same time however, I understand that parenting is hard, especially as a first timer and for some parents, that may be their way of showing love to their kids, the method that they think will work for them or they just straight up don't want to deal with a tantrum, at least not in a public place.
Before anyone bashes me, read what I said first, in terms of me not agreeing with just giving in, like if I were a parent, theoretically, I'd be quite strict with my kids to ensure that they'd know how to behave in public and respect people around them, because I've seen shitty behaviour from kids before and it's worse when the parents do nothing about it.
those kids will grow up to become social justice warriors gluing their hands to artwork, pouring milk on the floor of shopping malls, pulling down statues, burning down homes and businesses, protesting in the middle of roads and highways thus stopping traffic, making false accusations of someone else's misdeeds, causing riots in the streets etc.
Bugs me. Then it passes, until the kid grows up and start trolling GaG and running for president.
Setting the kids up for disappointment and failure and the rest of society to have to deal with it both the benign and the more severe like when they crash their car and kill someone because they're having a road rage tantrum.
Do me once... shame on you.
Do me twice... shame on me.
They are setting up their kids for failure. It's sad.
Ikr.
They're creating monsters.
It’s not a big deal.
You were probably one of them.
That or he has no kids or lets someone else deal with them.
You don’t understand. They are only toddlers for a little part of their life. Let them have what they want. Because adult life sucks.
And their adult life will suck even more if parents give in to their tantrums.
Nope sorry but you are wrong.
Keep thinking that👍🏼
I know what I’m doing as a father myself.
