No, but it would be a mistake depending on the age. I believe if they are a teenager or older they can as long as it is not abused.
For me, I still do not swear in front of my parents, since it feels weird and disrespectful to a degree. Sometimes it might slip in front of my mother, she is fine with it, but never with my father. I might be an adult, but he'd kick my ass for it 😂
Depends on age. My mum let us swear when we were around 15/16 in her presence at home. But she swore to make a sailor blush so would have been a bit hypocritical.
My in laws swear very occasionally and even then it's mild. And nobody swears around then as a respect kind of thing unless there's stress ( for instance swearing as you have a baby/break down etc).
I'll probably follow a bit similar to my mother because I swear and it would be hypocritical to restrict it.
And it doesn't make them a bad parent, because ya kids will be cussing at school anyway ๐
I wouldn't say it's bad... i'd say more of either they don't care or they a push over. I'm black so that's self explanatory... and my granddad doesn't like that kind of talk. But it's one of the two I said above, especially if- (this is turning to a race kind of thing but it's the only way I've seen it in my day)

Depends on the age. My son and his best friend are both 5. I moderate my language (mostly) around him but his friend's parents are less rigid with their language.
That said, the boys are thick as thieves and we get on really well with his friend's parents. It's difficult around us as well as it's a multilingual area and the Afrikaans "Fok" is much less offensive than "Fuck".
Don't see my son growing up with no swearing once he's a teenager, but I don't think cussing is the worst a kid can do. And I certainly don't believe it's a sign of a bad parent.
To me it means they don't pay much attention to their kids, so that's why they may not care what they're saying. But some kids mainly just do it, not because their parents allow it. I didn't cuss as a kid because I knew it'd upset my parents (and because I knew that language wasn't appropriate for my age).
My kids learned all the words at home lol
I explained the original meaning to my kids and how people wanted to offend them by using those words. There was never acceptance to really use them at home or against any adult. But they were free to use whatever they wanted in contact with peers.
Depends on a lot of things. Mostly, how old are they?
it's not a good thing but they gotta do more than that to make them a bad parent lol
Depends. Seems like early ages need discipline and clear right and wrong. But if I had kids Iโd prob allow jokingly cussing. Def not angry cussing.
Nah cussing is no big deal
probably
