Would you stay all night, all alone, in an abandoned scary house, and it's believed to be haunted?

My current house is haunted. Previous / original owner's wife died here.

• I've been out in the garage and heard an echoing "hello" from a woman, but nobody there.
• I've been downstairs & thought my mother (visiting) was messing around with some antique dishes (heard clinking) on display... she was on the 2nd floor doing laundry
• My car has the blind-spot safety feature on the side mirrors. Occasionally one of the mirrors will light up though every day I'm backing up in the same fashion. And yes the dealer's tested it - it only does this in the garage by the way.

Would I be scared? Nope.

I grew up in a haunted house beside a church where due to a natural disaster they had to store bodies for viewing / a wake in between waiting for burial.

And I also worked in a former asylum turned mental health hospital with underground tunnels that was haunted.

Only thing a ghost would do that'd scare me, is floating a rifle off a shelf & open fire.

I don’t get why people get so worked up over things like that. I know that they some times rent rooms in some of the more popular haunted houses. To me it’s just a bad idea. The ghosts don’t scare me though I do believe they can be extremely dangerous but why would you stay in a place like that?

No problem except for living people who are bound to try to frighten you. The dead have no interest in you. I used to arrive an hour early to work to accommodate my wife's schedule. I worked in the ME's office and would craw up on the x-ray table for some shut eye. I scared a few people who thought someone had left a body out of the refrigerator.

I think that NCIS and other ME series have created an unrealistic idea of what an Autopsy is. It is nothing short of removing every organ in the body including the brain. Some states mandate that the organs be buried with the body,. some don't. Every ME keeps a stock jar for as long as 3 years so the they can have a second look should that be required. Bottom line: If decedents had any regard for their remains, then they would have made their objections known. They are in a new and better environment.
