One of the things I've learned over the last few years is that luxury is entirely a matter of perspective. At one point, I'd reached the level where I was eating only by scavenging dropped change I found on the street, and managing a loaf of bread every other day or so. I had a roof over my head at night, but only because I still had my car.
And one day, as I was heading into a grocery store to use the bathroom (they pretty much all have policies against washing more than your hands and MAYBE your face, but they'll kick you out if you smell badly enough; I don't know what the hell they expect homeless people to DO), I saw a dollar bill that someone had dropped- and no one nearby. I snatched it up and discovered that it wasn't a single, but a FIVE. When I had a job, I'd make that in twelve minutes, but at this point, it was a fortune. I went to Wal-Mart later that day and bought a FRESH loaf of bread and a bag of store-bought pepperoni. It made for a cheap and simple repast, but I felt like a king eating it.
But even in those darkest moments, I had the sun, and warmth, and a climate where sleeping rough wasn't a death sentence (which I cannot say for Chicago), and perhaps above all, I had time. There are people who work like dogs just for the chance to visit where I was living (well, surviving) at basically no cost (which was still my entire budget).
It all kinda depends on what your standards are.
I am not very materialistic. I enjoy nice things but I drive an old car and live in a small house at present. I could buy a new car and a bigger house but it wouldn't make me happier.
I do. My reputation often precedes me; though it often follows me too. But what does family know. Everything is relative. Including relatives.
But if you'd like me to provide some information about the ingredients in some dish (good or lacking) and what restaurants are not worth their salt, or what chemicals to avoid in beauty or hygiene products, what shops to avoid, or why synthetics are inferior to natural fabrics, etc etc etc., then I just might be your woman. Bulls might as well not come in my china shop. But you will be comfortable in it, if you, as well, can appreciate such luxuries.
Uhm luxuries in the sense of what is portrait in social media with great cars, vacations, brand shoes and clothes etc - nope not at all
But I see watching tv already a luxury for me and I do enjoy uhm "basic" stuff a lot, but I'm also coming from a poor family background lol

i love beatiful things and i loke chill life for sure i would extremely love luxuries so much BUT i am certain with Jesus i will not be able to forgive myself even in after life if i failed this one so basically i'm doing duicidal mission. i don't bow down on anyone meaning don't let myself be twmpted in exchange foe my faithand principle. i am still praying to Godnegotiate that if ever i have to face more sufferings hope he will not let me anymore

The only luxury I’ve ever had was masturbating on our Kohler San Raphael one piece toilet. This same toilet was in our bathroom on our honeymoon and I fell in love with it.
No luxery doesn't really add enough extra value for it to be worth it, I rather go for quantity at that state. Ie rather go on multiple trips than one luxery trip etc.
No, not at all. I hate paying a lot of money for things. Why pay a lot for something when you can get similar quality for a lot less.
Similar, but not equivalent.
Some things have their prices jacked because of the logo, but with others you really feel the difference.
don't care for any of it...
except... my bathroom and my kitchen
those were very expensive to remodel and build, lmfao
I like simple over luxtry, I prefer to pay what something is worth for its use over paying for its looks/name on it
No. I'm not a materialistic person. I like simple things.
No, Ι truly don't.
I have never been into that lifestyle.
It is just not for me.
I've never had luxury before in my life. So I probably wouldn't even know what to do with it if I encountered it. I would be like a tribal person coming to New York in the 21st Century.
I don't have the money to experience it even if I wanted too
Nope, I prefer simple and under the radar. Paradise is a shack in the bush with no people and no cell service
I do, it makes me forget anything stressy. A reminder of what you have accomplished, a little something to be happy about that you made it far enough to enjoy some luxury.
Given I own a pair of sterling silver Dunhill collar stiffeners, I can't exactly say no
I don't mind nice hotel or vacation every once in a while.
Not really. Not my thing
I sure do! 😁
Why did my smiley face turn into that?
I wouldn't know!
Anyhow...
I think the standard of luxury is relative. My standards are pretty low, so luxury to me might be minimal survival for the next person.
Some of them. I do like my comforts.
I sure do. Can't afford any however.
Yes, but I think most people do
I do like a luxury resort
Yes, I do.
Yes do you?
