Well it’s sort of bullshit because if you’re just now married, it kinda means something to get your significant other a gift. It’s like sentimental. Even if he has to get his car fixed, he can find a way to get you something. He could sell something he owns, or pawn it, or borrow money from someone. It doesn’t have to be something big.

  If your dead ass broke like that go to 7-11 by a cheap scratch and win or 2. & a slurpee say merry Christmas babe and have a awesome dinner, you got the car at least. Look into rsp’z and stuff like that so you know how to retire properly. Put away 100 a month at age of 25 till your 70 it’s a million $ but start at 35 & wait till 70 it’s only. $300k
