Why is a guy so offended after pointing out his flaws (he started first)?

He started with the suddenly comparing me to hourglass frame models and other girls on TV and youtube that eat much less and are constantly checking their weight because it's important for fertility, etc. I can't do nothing about being an apple shape and average-medium frame. Neither of my family members are that skinny nor chubby either and none of us are short either. You can't expect an 5'8 apple-shaped woman to be 120 Ibs. I don't get full by tiny portions either nor 2-3 crackers at night. I have to eat normal breakfast, lunch and regular dinner.

I tend to let the person talk all they want to, then analyze it all and the next day or two say my stance.

So yes I did replied back on the following day. In a rather gentle manner, I pointed about his awful fiancial status for a man in his mid 30's, the times I've helped him with the bill several times and indicated how that's unfavorable if he wants to one day provide for a family since he's struggling so much and he's the one mentioning about wanting kids one day. I added that all my male relatives and several guys on youtube younger than him can already provide for a family. Then I ended with an ''One more thing, no offense but it might be a good idea to have a dental work on the abnormal alignment of the upper teeth (he has buck teeth) and some cleaning might help out for hygienic reasons. It might be important for an interview one day or some presentation don't you think?

Needless to say all this ended up in a break-up. He got hurt badly and pretty much had no actually reply back to that. Isn't that hypocritical? He can mention a flaw but I can't say his?

If I was him and had more flaws than the person I'm insulting and doing stupid comparisons, I would shut up.
