That would really nice to have such a dwelling where I could sit in my recliner, slide my wall/window to the side, and cast my line 🎣. And a woman to bait my hook, take out the fly over Canadian geese, f-in beavers, and mix martinis. Saves all kinds of money on 🛥 and traps.

No, not really. While it seems nice in theory, I'd be afraid it would flood, or if it's not built properly, the foundation could sink or go into the water.

Maybe I would vacation in one for a few days for a nice weekend getaway. But I don't see myself spending the rest of my life living in one.

I mean, if I'm truly out in the middle of nowhere I might could live in that house but if there's any chance of people being anywhere close it might be awkward because when I'm home I sometimes walk around naked.

That looks like Farnsworth house. I would live in a lake house, absolutely. It's not my first choice -- I'd prefer a house on an ocean coastline or a beach -- but would definitely live there.

I did, I was a caretaker on one mansion on a lake, our family had lake rights on a really nice lake about a quarter mile from our house, and I built my first house on a lake.
I spent a lot of years in and around water.

Too visible. Unless that glass frosts over like those bathrooms that are clear until you close the door and they “frost” over.

Only for a short duration like weekends or vacations. But not permanently. Like have it as a property to hang out when feel like. Sounds fun.
