Do you view emotional vulnerability as a ‘weakness’?

Most of us seem to hate being emotionally vulnerable to other people especially if we do not know them well. So it makes me wonder if being vulnerable is mostly viewed as a weakness?

I don't view it as a weakness at all, but I'm also not an emotionally damaged turd muffin. That's not to say I haven't had my damage in life. I have, I just worked passed it.

I imagine that people who haven't been able to work passed their damage probably view emotional vulnerability as a weakness.

Not at all. I see it as being human and knowing your personal limits. We are all vulnerable at some extent. However, you must be careful with showing your vulnerability. Some people might take advantage of you.
