The notion of hundreds of gender identities is complex. But you never hear much about species identities. Why is that?

For as long as I can remember, I've identified as a muskrat. I have nothing against humans, but I just don't identify as one. I enjoy eating frogs, snails, small fish, gummy bears and various plant life. As a matter of fact, the only human qualities I have, is that I can type 60 words per minute, do light javascript programming, and know how to work a can opener.

Does anyone else identify as an animal?

You're not alone. It's increasingly common for people to identify as non-people, and we're not just talking animals. I know a guy who identifies as a mirror and hangs out in women's dressing rooms.

They do exist and schools have to bend over backwards to accommodate them.

There are over 7,000 languages in the world, and in the US, schools are required to provide interpreters if need be. And when I said "languages" I meant human languages. I'm not against gay marriages, or even poly marriages. But soon you will be able to marry an aardvark. Then there will be divorce lawyers that specialize in aardvark marriages. It's all because people try and push the envelope. It's an attention thing. I watched a George Carlin video on YouTube. He saw a young guy in the audience wearing an earring.
