What sound will you never forget?

Inspired by this queston;

Funny how our senses can mix and cross and such. I read the question about smell and instantly thought of a sound.

There are many I won't forget, but one of the most powerful is this;

A couple of years ago, I was in the emergency room and my body was dying. I will never forget the voice of the surgeon who saved my life. I don't know what he looks like, but I could pick his voice out in a crowd.

Unfortunately the sound of my mom moaning. I really wish i could because it bothered me so much between the ages of 5 to 21. Her room was often near mine when she’d have sex with whomever she was dating and she didn't care that we could hear. The music they sometimes played in the background never drowned it out and it really fcked me up to the point where i’d cry myself to sleep at night. I even plotted ways to breakup her and the guys so i didn't have to hear it anymore. I was the ultimate cockblocker. And always i was successful at times, i still had to hear it a few months a year. Very very disturbing. I dont wanna ever ruin my kid like that. But I've already been guilty of this. I’ve done the same thing with exes while my sis was growing up in the room next door. I've now traumatized her with that noise. I hate that im like my mom in that sense

Well, during my first ever piano class when I was of 8 years, my teacher said, "Anyone who can play something in piano may come up!"

Thinking that playing piano was as easy as it looks in movies, I raised my hand volunteeringly and sat on the piano seat. I took a deep breath and started playing the random notes. It was getting so so awkward that I remember every single moment of that day and the random garbage I played on piano. My piano teacher just looked at me pathetically and said, "Don't worry, you have made friends with the piano now." Lol.

I remember that day time to time and then realise how far I came. I still remember the scene vividly.

Three people were killed and forty-seven others injured. Cars were reportedly flipped through the air and debris scattered over several blocks. An investigation of the cause of the disaster uncovered leaks in a pipe running below the building, which supplied propane to the heating system for the complex. Several parties involved in the explosion have launched legal action in connection to the accident.

The phrase "Here to help" taking me back to seeing Darron Jarrott's last traffic stop

He pulled a known drug trafficker over for tinted windows near federal agents but didn't warn Jarrott that he's armed and has a long history of violence.

The suspect got out but unbeknownst to Jarrott, he had a rifle he was hiding as he walked over to the other side of the truck, where Jarrott stood.

He pulled the rifle up, shooting at Jarrott, he ducked and tried to get his handgun out but the suspect stood over him, shooting him several times in his back as he was on the ground trying to get his gun to defend himself.

Then the suspect pressed the barrel to Jarrott's head and shot him twice.

Federal agents ran over to render aid, one was saying "I'm here to help"! But he soon realized just how fruitless it was, you can even hear the blood draining from his body being picked up by the audio recording on his bodycam.

That horrible sound is all my mind goes to when i hear that phrase

My sister's scream. When she and her friends were playing in the neighbor's pool, I could hear her voice two blocks away. LOL

Now that I think of childhood, there was also the whistle of the Helm's truck, which delivered baked goods every day. And the tinkling, music box-like, tune from the ice cream truck.

One of the weirdest thing I did as a kid was have a seashell put to my ear and I years noise in it. It still mind fucks me to this day when I was young af in Cali at the beach with my mom lol i still don't get how their is sound in a seashell even when u take it home.

I will never forget the sounds when my son is laughing. It sounds so cute!

I grew up at the ocean, and oh, how I miss those smells of the salt water and the sound the seagull's make. The fog horn as well. 🏖️
